Our winter storm is winding down across the area as the heaviest snow bands have shifted to the east. A few pockets of moderate snow remain with widespread light snow/flurries persisting. Snow will gradually taper off through the evening and should end shortly after midnight ⬇️

.@AmericanAir executive platinum loyal customer. How is it possible: you delay flight 6 hours; put me on another flight; lose my gate checked bag; don’t send it on next flight as promised. What am I to do? Is this how you treat loyal customers?

@NC_Governor That’s great, but why not donate money directly to orgs like Second Harvest, CCM, etc. instead of through companies and family foundations? I’m sure they’re thankful for the tax breaks and their “look at what we did” press releases.

Earlier this month, we announced $18 million in grants and donations to help fight hunger across North Carolina. More organizations have stepped up to donate nearly $4 million more to make sure families can put food on the table. I am immensely grateful to these groups for contributing $22 million to help our neighbors in need.
