@JFKairport @Johnsonator85 are the security and wait times on your website what an actual traveler would experience starting at the back of the line? or are the wait times calculated from some specific point in the line or a sign or whatever

This isn't the central issue, obviously, but it's also been disconcerting to see that the TSA wait times airports post on their website are just the wait from some arbitrary point rather than the actual wait a traveler can expect. Why even post the times?

Y'all... I've NEVER seen Hartsfield Jackson this bad. This is what security looks like this morning (Friday). We've talked to people that got to the airport at 3am that missed their 6am flight. @ATLNewsFirst @GAFollowers

@firstadopter a lot of people wouldn't want this, but the kind of person who would wear it at $20 should be fine wearing it at $200, no problem

Ending the conservatorships or modifying the senior prefs is difficult for many reasons, but annual reports have always been worthless for forecasting policy changes. If they want to make an announcement they'll just do it, rather than bury clues in an annual report
The McNamara Brief@McNamara_Brief

Now I see it. @FHFA released their new strategy for FY26/27. Based on the image below, it is terrible news for $FNMA and $FMCC shareholders. Basically, the FHFA under @pulte has no intention of reviewing ERCF, adjusting PSPA's or ending the conservatorship until at least Sep 30 2027 (end of FY27). Unless @Trump undoes this, then there is no chance of release before he leaves office. Perhaps #Trump has already decided the c-ship won't end. If this is not the case, then @pulte should be fired as his plan runs contrary to President Trump's public agenda.

Is there any way to turn off AI Overviews in Gmail? It's driving me nuts. They appear at the top of emails with no option to disable them.

The military plans for wars in places that aren't even on the radar currently. Hormuz has been under threat of closure for 40+ years. So it seems really unlikely that there haven't been thousands of hours invested in planning for this exact scenario

@conorsen It's going to be a madhouse but you can pay ~$300 all-in buying directly from the venue still, which isn't sold out

@NDave69 @TheStalwart my biggest frustration with Claude is that I have to keep asking it how to open Claude with dangerous permissions or whatever. I wish they would make it fewer characters so I could memorize it

@joelight @TheStalwart A lot of the time it will end a response with "You'll need to remember to run [some obscure bash bs]"... To which I reply "Umm, can you just do that?" and then it executes flawlessly. Salient reminders that it's just a statistical "what letter comes next" prediction machine.

@joelight @TheStalwart I feel like it’s not hard to use but it’s harder for people to get in the mindset of how ai can help them all the time. Similar to how in 2026 some people are better at the internet and searching then others

A judge in the Court of International Trade just ordered CBP to start issuing IEEPA refunds. It was in a case brought by Atmus Filtration but "appears to cover the super majority of imports," according to one attorney barrons.com/articles/trade…
