Which reverse proxy are you actually running in your homelab? • Traefik (Docker label routing, automatic certs, highly configurable) • Caddy (clean config, automatic HTTPS by default, great for simpler setups) • HAProxy (battle-tested, powerful, steeper learning curve) • Something else? I've been running Traefik for a while — love the Docker label integration. BUT I keep hearing good things about Caddy for setups that don't need the full Traefik flexibility. What's your daily driver and why? 👇

I need to deploy a single server pretty resource sensetive application as cheap as possible. Need either 4 or 8 cpu cores and a fast ssd. fly.io or hetzner or something else?

In the next version of Bun 3 HTTP server optimizations: 1) Reduced latency of incoming connections on Linux 2) 2 cork buffers instead of 1 fixes a degenerate edgecase (the screenshot) 3) Automatically clean up aborted requests when promises never resolve

Dude, Texas is so unbelievably hot. I hope I get used to it. It's already almost 90 degrees and it is not even April. My kids keep telling me that they want to go back to Canada lol

@justbyte_ Dude, if you have Neon, Supabase, you need to be adding PlanetScale. It really is the only option here, and it supports the two best databases, MySQL and Postgres.

Just throwing this out here, I made this being more of a Mac OS windows manager, it is primarily floating behavior window rather than tiling. I personally got burned out with tiling / forced window managers switching between laptop and desktop screens. This is really all I wanted in a windows manager. Using swift and native animations + ghostty in the video :) github.com/wes/shaka

I’ll say the tiling WM integration with macOS is unfortunate but to be fair tools like Aerospace are doing things not technically supported by macOS and hence the weirdness (native tabs are supposed to be separate windows in AX APIs they abuse to be a “window manager.”) I really wish Apple would provide something first class! To combat this we plan on creating a custom tab bar that draws native (using AppKit) just to avoid this unfortunately. But we have to be super careful it integrates properly with the rest of the system.

I truly can't comprehend people who like the non-native tabs, search interface, etc. that some other terminals have (won't call them out directly). They're great terminals with an awful UI. But, this is subjective, and I'm happy people have choice. Not my tempo, though.
