@GWRHelp but that same train is carrying on, through Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford to get to Reading? I'd understand if the train was totally cancelled, but this just seems odd

Hi Joe, thanks for your message. Unfortunately, due to a speed restriction because of high track temperatures, services from Paddington are currently not stopping at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford. My apologies for any inconvenience. If you arrive at your destination 15 minutes or more later than planned, you can claim compensation at delayrepay.gwr.com - Gordon

@GWRHelp direct trains from Paddington to Maidenhead are flagging as cancelled, but the trains themselves seem to be running beyond (e.g. to Reading?). There's no clarification as to why this is, could you help? No incidents are noted

Just seen this: This journey has been cancelled because of a speed restriction because of high track temperatures However the train itself still says it left on time and just skipped Maidenhead. Is this right?

@pokeefe1 @marka1882 @ade_manuk They can't overturn an on field decision unless it's offside. They can approve an on field decision (i.e. no penalty) without review. I hate VAR generally, but they got it right this time

@pokeefe1 @ade_manuk They do when it's clearly a foul! I didn't want Arsenal to win either, but there's no denying that was a foul, arguably a double foul

I notice that Newcastle's horrific form has suddenly been arrested the moment their one midfield passer was fit again. Wonder if there's a potential lesson there for someone, possibly.

I think it only seems that way because I've spent the last decade commenting on a series of decisions that have taken us from title challengers to relegation candidates.

@NathanAClark you have never been impressed by anything in life. not saying that in defense of Kehl, just as a reminder that impressing you is impossible so it is an unrealistic standard

@NathanAClark I know objectively getting relegated will be terrible, but part of me wonders if barely staying up will have us in a worse position in 3-4 years time because clearly no lessons are being learned currently

Marco Senesi Very nice passer of the ball, lacks the athleticism to be an especially good high-line defender. If we stay up but recruit the likes of Senesi and Robertson we'll be right back in this mess again next year.

You can now get your blood work at cost. We launched a biomarkers testing platform. I make $0 on it. Blood testing needs to be more accessible. Instead, we wait until we get sick. And in the meantime, companies profit when you’re sick. It's messed up. > get tested > find what needs attention > implement protocols > test again Get ahead of unwelcome surprises.

@LilywhiteLab @Mastrigt_ Twice he should've been quicker off his line, but he was also probably our best passer all game. De Zerbi will have a choice to make which he values more in the coming weeks

Romero only one who showed up today, despite the ref trying his hardest to stop him playing Rest of them were awful Some playing well below their level, some just shocking footballers Comes back to the board, and recruitment again We have created a team where our backline is filled with more technicians than our midfield or front line, embarassing

Tottenham Hotspur are going down unless they show some fight. Spurs fans played their part backing the team, giving the squad that powerful greet before the Forest game. A few players like Archie Gray play their part, fighting for the cause, a 20-year-old showing more commitment than some senior players. It’s not about ability or reputation now, it’s concentration and commitment. It's about fight. Forest showed it. Morgan Gibbs-White, a player Spurs were desperate to bring in for his character as well as playing calibre, highlighted what Spurs miss. “They have got that incredible talent but we showed that fight, hunger and desire more than them,” Gibbs-White told Match of the Day. That fight, hunger and desire to stay with a runner, to block a cross, to compete for a cross, for a ball, for a loose ball, to rage against the dying of the Premier League light. Djed Spence, Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso switched off for the Forest goals. Others culpable, too. Blame also lies with the recruitment for bringing in some individuals who have the flair but not the fight. It’s not new, it even pre-dates Antonio Conte’s lambasting of players and the club culture. It’s a lack of leadership. It’s an issue of mismanagement from on high, as much as poor management from the dugout. Igor Tudor is out of his depth, clearly, but he’s only part of the problem. The whole club needs a reset. A proper, independent all-areas review of the club should come in the summer. For now, it's about players waking up from this sleepwalk towards the Championship. It’ll be one of the biggest stories in the 34 years of the Premier League if Tottenham go down with their history, stadium, fanbase. Spurs were one of the “big five” clubs whose chairmen drove the original breakaway from the Football League in 1992. Damaging financially, £150m minimum. Damaging for recruitment – of players and coaches. Would Mauricio Pochettino return if Spurs were in the Championship, a world away from the Premier League, let alone Champions League? It would trigger an exodus/sale of players. The only ones who can stop the drop will not suffer long-term - beyond having the stain of relegation on their playing records. Spurs are currently 17th on 30 points, without a PL win since Dec 28. They probably need a minimum of eight points from Sunderland away, Brighton home, Wolves away, Villa away, Leeds home, Chelsea away and Everton home. Eight points from seven games. Sounds doable. But do they have the fight, hunger and desire? #THFC
