The Catalan people have pressured Revolut to add Catalan to the Revolut app, and won, sort of.
It's incredible, I haven't seen anything like that before in Revolut’s history. Speaking of history, this is how it went, at least on X:
On Apr 1, 2020, @PepRodes started a thread comparing language-speaker numbers to argue that, with 13,529,127 Catalan speakers, Revolut should add Catalan to the app, but Revolut did not respond.
On Dec 15, 2025, @albertcuesta, who appears to be a journalist, asked Revolut about Catalan in the app. Revolut's response was mostly “If it will be implemented, we will surely announce it”.
On Feb 1, 2026, @martibrav0 wrote fundamentally asking to add “Catalan language as an option”. Revolut's response was mostly “We will pass your suggestion about adding the Catalan language option to our ATMs and the app to our team for future consideration.”
This post got over 180k views and over 2.3k likes. I reposted it, adding that there are more #Catalan speakers as a first language in the EU than there are Russian speakers, but Russians have language support in the app, whereas #Catalans don’t.
On Feb 12, 2026, @pancatalanisme asked to add Catalan language support on the app. Revolut responded mostly, “We don't have immediate plans to add Catalan support at the moment, but we're always looking to improve our app and make it more accessible. We'll make sure to pass your feedback on to our team for future consideration.”
Just two days later, Feb 14, @martibrav0 posted a screenshot of the header from Revolut's job offer, which clearly states that the company is looking for a Catalan translator to localise the service.
The next day, on 15 Feb, I posted about this job ad as well, and my post took off like wildfire in the evening.
Overall, hundreds of thousands of views, thousands of likes, and hundreds, if not thousands, of reposts and comments. I don't think Revolut can back out of it now. It would not look good. Catalans are expecting it.

It's incredible to see such a thing in action. It looks like a big win-win.
