Consider that the majority of ChatGPT users reuse their password. Additionally the majority of ChatGPT users do not have MFA enabled. Now consider the following example: Reused password shows up in data breach> Access to ChatGPT account via account takeover> Extorting user based on sensitive private prompts was bad enough but now the victim doesn’t realize attacker also has access to exact charges just made on vacation> Hyper tailored phish for bank account or crypto creds/codes> Drain life savings

A new @bgurley blog post! I have been thinking about how sophisticated executives are using open source in super creative ways. Started writing this three years ago. Excited to finish it up and publish it! And with the new @p3institute brand. substack.com/home/post/p-19…

On topic: there is a mistake I saw large companies make in late 2025/early 2026 which is they picked their coding model provider, chat tool, and harness and put the whole company on it. There was a big leap in model ability and folks felt confident. I have been walking into these teams and they have no idea how good codex is or that notion AI is sick af, of what’s what in the agent world. And now they’re sunk in a contract AND internal intertia while missing out on the best & most efficient tools of the moment. Let me say it again for people in the back: We are pre convergence on tools!!! Keep your organizational options open!!! Consumer (well, enterprise) choice is a gift when everyone is competing for your business and capabilities jump every month. Leverage it.

@matt_slotnick for sure. definitely would be even more antsy as a vendor if any of my big clients are saying this...I'm sure notices of non renewal have already gone out for many contracts up in 2026.

@joewmcintyre very good point. in their defense, budgets are set in oct/nov, which was pre opus 4.5... which is what changed everything over the holiday break

New: @ServiceNow is the latest major public company to say it’s blown through its full year budget for AI coding tools from Anthropic in the first few months of 2026, just like @Uber CTO @praveenTweets said abt his company. “It’s a really hard problem,” CIO Kellie Romack said.

Given how easy it is getting to build things, distribution and business models will be keys to victory. I just don’t see much creative ideas here and I don’t count changing the name professional services to forward deployed engineering. What amazing stuff is happening here?

@bowtiedbrazil Why would any dedicated headcount be used to serve that client then let alone a salesperson? Thats just Ops / commercial model design, no?

It's no longer a secret. Gong crossed the $500M ARR mark and have had 10 straight quarters of ACCELERATING YoY Growth. Exiting Q1 at over 55% YoY in ARR. So, so grateful to be here. Rare air.

@FidelCacheFlow when I was a BDR I remember a dude on the team was just blasting JPM with bullshit. There was like only one actual response and it was Jamie Dimon looping in someone to take a meeting. Our VP wanted to murder all of us.

Grant Cardone breaks down how to make $83,000/month with AI consulting👀 $8,300/month x 10 Clients = $996,000/year "I would have 10 clients, each pay me $8,000. To go in and push all their AI, all their programs, I'd probably bring three AI platforms into the company, figure out three or four different projects they want me to handle. I wouldn't be on their healthcare, wouldn't be on their payroll, they'd pay me an $8,000 consulting fee. I'd make a million dollars in year one. $83,000 a month. 10 people, $8,300 each."

At this point outside of edge cases or just obvious situations, if you're on Bedrock/Foundry/Vertex, how much model spend do you need to justify a separate "AI whatever layer"? Does that justification hold in 6-12 months? I was thinking of AI gateways specifically here but feel like I'm randomly questioning something different every day seeing updates like these.

Sales should create their own cold email copy. Not marketing. It's wild how companies assign outbound messaging to a marketing person who never speaks with prospects or customers. That's why so many cold emails focus on features, solutions, and buzzwords. Meanwhile, the best-performing emails: - use language from actual customer calls - reference specific pain points - are short and easy to read The emails that drive meetings aren't the pretty ones. They're the relevant ones. Let sales do the writing.
