@sandileswana The problem for disadvantaged, rural communities is the lack of cognitive function development (5-13yrs) that create new neuropathways, required to develop good sport skills. They lack trained coaches, equipment, funding. Amabokoboko Foundation can help.

The black schools in the townships and villages generally including those located in the traditional black rugby communities are not geared,.funded and equipped to produce rugby Springboks today in South Africa. The assessment that many township and village schools are not currently equipped to produce Springboks is largely accurate and remains a central challenge in South African rugby. Despite the national team's success, the grassroots infrastructure in under-resourced areas often lacks the funding, facilities, and high-performance pathways found at elite schools. Key Barriers in Township and Village Schools Infrastructure Deficits: Many schools in these areas lack basic rugby fields; for instance, a recent report noted that in certain regions of Cape Town, only a small fraction of high schools have their own playing fields. Funding Disparities: Elite "rugby schools" benefit from significant private funding, including wealthy Old Boy donations and corporate sponsorships that township schools cannot access. Talent "Drain": The current system often identifies raw talent in townships only to move those players to traditional rugby powerhouses like Grey College via bursaries, rather than developing the township schools themselves. Logistical Hurdles: Families often face prohibitive costs for basic equipment like boots, as well as transportation to training and matches. Current Initiatives and Counter-Movements While the gap remains wide, several programmes are working to create sustainable local pathways: VUKA Rugby: A partnership between SARU and the SA Rugby Legends Association (SARLA) specifically targets disadvantaged communities to provide structured training and competition. The TRY Initiative: Focuses on bringing high-performance standards to townships like Westberry, recently helping over 1,500 players gain exposure through interprovincial tournaments. Grassroots Foundations: Organizations like the Hollywood Foundation and the Rugby Boosters FC provide kit and equipment to struggling schools that lack traditional sponsorship. Critics argue that SA Rugby is still building "from the top down" rather than investing deeply in the ground-up infrastructure required to make township schools self-sustaining high-performance hubs.

@JoshuaBarzon Between 1 and 4. 1st impression of 1 is Creation to Cross and 4 is all NT from the Cross to the birth of the church. Looking to the present and future it must be 4

Which logo design is your favorite from these 4 options that I designed? I am working on a logo + brand identity for a church that wants the main logo mark to have a prominent central cross with a traditional yet modern vibe. Thanks in advance for your vote!

🔻 They shot down an F-15 today. Day 35. The most advanced fighter jet in the sky. Gone. The media is crying. The generals are panicking. But Trump smiled. Five words: "It won't affect anything." Read that again. A $100 million jet is burning in the desert and the Commander in Chief says it won't affect anything. Why? Because he already knew. He knew before the jet left the ground. He knew who gave the wrong coordinates. He knew who leaked the flight path. He knew who the traitors were. And he removed them the night before. ⟁ Three generals. Fired in one night. No warning. No ceremony. The Army Chief of Staff. The head of Transformation Command. The Chief of Chaplains. Three men who controlled the chain of command, the technology, and the morale of every soldier in the field. They weren't fired for incompetence. They were the last wall between Trump and total military control. He didn't break. He broke them. By midnight, the Pentagon released a statement — not from the "Department of Defense." From the Department of War. They renamed it. Quietly. While you were sleeping. The name it hasn't carried since 1947. That's not a rebranding. That's a resurrection. ⟁ Same day. $1.5 trillion. The largest military budget in American history. You don't spend $1.5 trillion on a war that's already won. Iran is in ruins. Navy — gone. Air force — dust. Reactors — burning. So where does the money go? To the system that replaces the old one. Then he turned to NATO: "Fight Iran or lose Ukraine." They chose silence. He chose freedom. NATO was never an alliance. It was a leash. The 13 families used it to keep America funding their wars and obeying their rules. The leash is off. The generals are gone. The budget is signed. The Pentagon has a new name and a new master. The old military died on Day 35. CODE: D35-PURGE / DOW-1.5T / NATO-DEAD / DEPT-WAR ⟁

South Africa continues to give the United States the middle finger. Training China, handing over NATO secrets, and undermining U.S. national security. They will find out quick they are on the losing side between the U.S. and China.

@elonmusk @Starlink Except South Africa where our government hate for whites is stronger that their care for the development of children and communities in rural areas. This mindset has taken SA as a leading African country to the brink of collapse. Still they dont care!

Meet Solly Malatsi, a minister brave enough to put connectivity over ideology. Starlink isn’t about Elon, it’s about schools online, rural clinics connected, jobs created. South Africa needs internet, not endless BEE paperwork that enriches cadres and blocks progress.

@Newzroom405 66% of all children <5yrs will never reach their cognitive developmental standards. World ave for developing countries at 43%. Our foundation cannot reach these children in the most rural areas of SA. Therefore, by 2050, 14.5 mil will be unemployable.

This is the UP Medicine class of 2025. Despite the loud claims that white children are “discriminated” from studying in SA universities, more than half this class is white, while white South Africans make up only about 7% of the population.

@MDNnewss Yes, where is the money coming from? Not from BEE comrads. It was generated from successful companies based on sound business principles, and hard work, those ones that are now excluded from big tenders. Wondering where this will be generated from in future??

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa is one of the few countries that gives citizens free houses, assets now worth over R300 000 and that this, along with social grants, free basic services, healthcare and no-fee schooling, has lifted millions out of absolute poverty over 30 years.

@elonmusk 2.4 million children in rural schools stay offline. 66% of SA kids will never reach full cognitive potential, that’s the real crisis. We’re blocking Starlink while protecting an artificial economy built on over-employment and political patronage.#AmabokobokoFoundation

The South African government is super racist against anyone who isn’t Black. Just a fact. It’s literally in the laws.
Gail Alfar@gailalfaratx

Isn’t it ironic how Elon’s Starlink wants to drop free, unlimited, super-fast internet into 5,000 rural South African schools, but SA’s bureaucracy insists on saying no. I think the 2.4 million kids in SA without proper access would benefit immensely. Starlink is even putting R500 million (about $29.4 million USD) on the table themselves, no cost to the government or the schools. All they’re asking? A normal licence to operate in SA. Here’s the crazy part: because of the 30% black-ownership rule (B-BBEE), ICASA keeps saying “nope.” Starlink says, “Cool, we won’t sell shares, but we’ll just give you this giant school project instead,” using the same Equity Equivalent programme that Microsoft, Amazon and IBM already got approved with. The Communications Minister is literally begging ICASA to accept it. Neighbours like Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique are already connected and loving it. Yet here we are, end of 2025, and those satellites are just flying over South Africa doing nothing while kids in the bundus still can’t pursue their dreams. Come on, South Africa, don’t be the only country turning down free internet for millions of learners. The irony, to me, is that Elon was born in South Africa, the very place that is telling him no to such a generopus offer!
