@jdpoc christhomasturner brings up a good point Fun fact: Don Quixote is actually very early liberal propaganda. Neo-Marxists claim he attacked windmills, but what the Deep State doesn't want you to know? His real job was shoveling coal in the windmill furnaces to keep them running.

@fittr_happier Interesting. I'm on a desktop PC using the Web interface, but maybe they don't like my browser. Or, maybe some interfaces catch that sequence and display it differently. Either way, good to know things might get lost in translation and to be mindful; thanks for the tip!

@techdroider Having said all that, if you're the kind of advanced user that cares about side-loading unsigned apps and other such shenanigans, you should probably already be using @GrapheneOS anyway. 🙂

@techdroider As a technical user, does this make me roll my eyes? Absolutely. As a long-time Firefox user who's seen the alternative -- where instead of doing this they just completely remove any "scary" functionality with no workaround -- is this better than the alternative? Yes.

“Nobody briefed me in advance that Iran might retaliate against Gulf countries” - Trump This is all like some big parody. Iran quite clearly said they’d retaliate exactly like this. It’s impossible to believe no one told him that in the US. Orange liar.

@chibikaijuu @LinkofSunshine @Michael_Druggan Ah OK, so it's that the parts that trigger allergies are less likely to break off (larger/heavier?) from something like food, whereas plants have evolved specifically to release pollen as it's part of their reproductive cycle. Cool, good to know!

@john31337 @LinkofSunshine @Michael_Druggan The pollen is actually floating around in the air and getting inhaled. Proteins from food typically aren’t (fragrance molecules are not usually proteins) unless aerosolized somehow - maybe if someone put peanuts in a badly sealed blender, but not a plate of cookie.

There is basically 0 hard evidence that airborne allergies exist outside of extremely rare circumstances In one experiment, they just straight up held 29 people 3-inches away from a thing of peanut butter and found not a single one had anything close to a reaction

@CalltoActivism No, accountability would be if something HAPPENED as a result of this filing. Even if she gets impeached, so what? The Rapist has been impeached twice, now, and it hasn't even slowed things down.

🚨BOMBSHELL: Rep. Summer Lee has filed Articles of Impeachment against Pam Bondi - after some Republicans express anger at Bondi for refusing a subpoena. “Gross obstruction of justice… She weaponized the DOJ… and perjured herself.” This is what accountability looks like.

@MAGACult2 ...you see someone be a bumbling idiot in every interaction and yet somehow the people around them continue to take them seriously over every alternative. I thought the US presidency was SPECIAL. It certainly isn't now; maybe it never really was. //

@MAGACult2 I think part of the simmering rage is part of the same reason people hated Jar Jar Binks. Yes, he's a bumbling idiot, but there's bumbling idiots everywhere and mostly we sigh an elaborate sigh, roll our eyes, and move on. The friction intensifies when... 1/

@BulwarkOnline This kind of moment needs a tire-screeching, needle-scratching stop where everything grinds to a halt and a spotlight gets shined on this casual deception. "So, just a moment here: to clarify, you're saying you believe there is an ongoing investigation into Renee Good's murder?"

Blumenthal: "Renee Good after she was shot and killed…You were asked whether you believe the shooting was justified, and you replied, 'Absolutely. Do you regret that statement as well?" Mullin: "It's very clear that an officer had to make a split decision in that case, who as a car was running towards him and did strike him." Blumenthal: "You're saying you do not regret that statement?" Mullin: "I'm saying the investigation is going on." Blumenthal: "There is no investigation."

@oubagaku Is it common to look at people's profiles when reading/liking their Tweets? I mean, I look at the little bio text in the corner, but I almost never click on someone's username and actually go to their profile page. Am I Doing It Wrong™? 🙂

something that took me a while to figure out: that person who likes all your tweets doesn't necessarily check your profile or have your tweets on notifs or like you specifically, they might just be on twitter a lot and like most posts they see
