At some point, it will behoove the Vice President to extricate himself from this soap opera. But, given his speech, he won’t for some time and the baser elements will be more and more a problem to deal with. One can see him, at some point, throwing a part the group away to show leadership. But not yet.

@EWErickson It is unacceptable but expected. I have been too guilty of “but policies”. Character has to matter whether after Charlie Kirk or Rob Reiner. No hypocritical stances or “whataboutisms”. It’s wrong. The United States of America deserves better. It deserves a leader.
