🇨🇳 In China, they are rolling out robotic electricians on a massive scale. They install and inspects live high-voltage, high altitudes electrical wires, and keep the grid running safely. i.e. humans no longer have to do this dangerous manual labor.

@mitchellh As a coding agent, yes, as a general intelligence, no. Even as a software architect I find opus 4.6 or Gemini 3.1 much better than codex, but as an agent it is unmatched.

I know this is pretty well established at this point, but Codex 5.3 is a much more effective model than Opus 4.6. I went back and forth on both for a bit, but haven’t touched Opus at all now for a full week. First model to get me off of Opus… ever. Good job Codex team.

C and C++ are completely different programming languages. C has concise syntax. It can be learnt in one day, and a typical C code is easy to read. I like C. C++ has over-complicated syntax, which becomes more complex with every new C++ standard. I hate C++. Whenever I see "C/C++" phrase, I instantly understand that the author of this phrase doesn't know neither C nor C++.

This is a gross misunderstanding. LLMs still need to be orchestrated. This is the greatest moment in history for services export and India is exactly where it should be as far as service export business is concerned. It does not have to be back office work, even core functions are being offshored through GCCs.
