Funny thing is, they suspended you but there is a seller on there now that sells counterfeit Benchmade knives. I bought one thinking it was real and once I received it saw right away it was a fake. I reported them to eBay and eBay refund me 3 days later after they saw I returned the counterfeit to seller and refused to remove them from eBay!

Just took a ride with a friend of mine. He is 62, has a paid-off condo, and $100,000 to invest. That’s all he has. He works a part-time job making at most $2,000 monthly and can’t find a better one. He is short on bills every month. Needs 3,5-4k. He wants to buy a shitty real estate property with his $100k and rent it out. (I don’t even know what you buy in FL for 100k? Garage? ) I suggested passive income from dividend stocks instead. I believe the market provides a better investment with this money. Am I right?

I looked into this last year. The only real benefit is you get to have retained earnings which get carried forward, which can help reduce your tax liabilities. You still have to pay corporate tax plus personal tax on distributions and things like that. No real savings other than being able to carry earnings forward for future investments, which helps reduce current year tax liability.. You can also try to trade under an LLC and opt for mark-to-market election but you have to keep really good logs and be an active trader doing hundreds of trades per month. The criteria is very strict and you can get into more scrutiny if you slow down or take your time on certain positions.

@ankit_agarwal7 @optionscjp Depending on your P/L. I found this strategy just make sense to save 20% on your payroll and you can deduct your corp expenses. How often do you buy new equipment for trading? Sure subscription cost, but hassling with corp paperworks, and another corp to manage. My 2 cents

@optionscjp Yes I do, it works well because part of the corp is managing money This is just another account managed as a proprietary book
