And we always have the ‘first casualty’, ‘fog of war’, etc.

The world’s media are prevented from reporting from inside Gaza. If we had seen the daily reality there in detail, I suspect the international pressure on Israel would have been even stronger than it is.

Worrying to see Tory lord something or other suggesting on @Channel4News that a climate change demo - however angry - should be treated the same as an anti immigrant march. The latter usually breaks laws about racism, threats to safety. The former not. They are not the same.

@katebevan Having had kidney stones x3 I now track my liquid consumption and am can be to carry a water bottle…. I’d rather be going to the loo more regularly than have another one of those!!

This is a good, interesting piece. As an old person who doesn't have anxiety that she can't find a drink of water if she needs it, my main thought is: if you're guzzling a couple of litres a day, you must be constantly desperate for the loo.

hang on, when did we start calling 2FA "2SV"? It's probably more accurate, but if we use loads of different abbreviations (see also "MFA", multi-factor authentication) then it gets really difficult for actual humans not immersed in security jargon to follow.

@BBCr4today Sounds like Grant Shapps thinks all Palestinians in Gaza ARE the enemy (2 million people) and that 20000 killed is justifiable. This isn’t defence, it’s slaughter - backed by the Tories.
