Right. It's not just that Massie is a leader in the fight against forcing Americans to fund foreign wars (in Israel, Ukraine, etc). He's also a vehement free speech defender and long-time leader against warrantless domestic surveillance.
But since these are issues most people pretend to care about only when their party is out of power, institutionalized MAGA is devoted to his destruction.

If there is one reason to vote for Thomas Massie, it’s that he led the debate against Republicans as they renewed FISA without warrants. Trump and R’s screamed for years to stop it and Massie ended up fighting them to try to stop it. It proved they are all liars.

🇺🇸 AIPAC spent over $10 million to take out a sitting Republican congressman in Kentucky today. That tells you everything you need to know about @RepThomasMassie. MIT graduate. Born and raised in Kentucky. Votes with Republicans 90% of the time. But that other 10% is what got him a target on his back: against all foreign aid including to Israel, voted against the Iran war, fought to release the Epstein files, and won't rubber stamp spending bills that balloon the deficit. Total spending in the race topped $25 million, making it the most expensive House primary in history. His opponent, a Trump-endorsed retired Navy SEAL named Ed Gallrein, refused to debate him once. They're running AI ads pairing Massie with AOC and Ilhan Omar because he voted against Israel aid. The man is one of the most fiscally conservative members of Congress. The ads are nonsense and everyone involved knows it. Massie won his last 3 primaries with over 70% of the vote. The question today is whether outside money can overwhelm a congressman his own constituents keep sending back by a landslide. Polls close tonight.
