I was very critical of @okaybears during/after mint as "influencers/whales" shilled it to 200+. My buying happened 8 months after mint and at a point where I felt the hype subsided and the community cycled accordingly. I spoke to @powerofpixel for several hours the past few weeks. I appreciate him as a father of two young kids, and through our chat I sensed a tempered humbleness that usually evolves after weathering a lot of ups and downs as a founder. It was pretty refreshing to get to know him 1-on-1. A few of my takeaways/feedback centered around transparency of project finances, comms strategy to tackle the broader perception of the project, and future collections to extend the brand to various consumer categories. It seemed as though this was well received. While there are no guarantees in web3, I'm excited to see things unfold leading up to #NFTNYC and beyond.
