JUST IN: Elon Musk's Terafab is the largest chip factory in the world and a key part of America's chip comeback, President Trump says Trump said Musk agreed to build Terafab, designed together with Intel's technology team. Terafab is a giant chip plant from Tesla and SpaceX, with Intel as the manufacturing partner. Musk announced it in March. Intel joined in April. The goal is to produce 1 terawatt of AI compute every year. That is roughly 50 times the world's current AI chip output. The first phase costs about $25 billion, with up to $119 billion for the full build. It will make chips for Tesla cars, Optimus robots and SpaceX satellites. The site sits near Giga Texas in Austin and could become one of the largest factories on earth.

Ark Invest estimates that the @Tesla Cybercab will deliver 50% lower operating costs than Waymo at scale in 2030 ($0.20/mile).
