In the energy world: It's worth noting that the regulations that set up competitive markets for pipelines and power grids are longer than the regulation that says "the government shall fix a price that is just and reasonable." Page count is not a great metric!

@fancy_1982 @TKavulla ok... but nodal is also a sham in that it does not get to root of prob. leaves term mkts to incumbents so they can trade into massive vol when it occurs, AND covers all their costs when lmps are soggy...

@JoshuaBasseches There is no doubt that the dominant bias in utility is status quo...no competition. Utility space in the US is probably the only 'unreconstructed' market opportunity... left.

Missed opportunities. The Walz pick is a sign of overconfidence from the Harris campaign. They do not feel they had to track to the middle to enlarge the tent. Same mistake made by the Trump campaign when it was on a high and went for Vance, a pick that did not expand the base
