Hey NephilTodd @ToddFriel. I’m a very small man, in height and intellect. Nevertheless, I just watched a video from @aigkenham and he mentioned his new name for you. I thought I would use it to say hello. I much enjoy both of your ministries. God bless you.

@michaeljknowles Ignorant question, Michael. How many times does the word “trinity” appear in the Bible, and what specifically does the Bible say about the “trinity”?

I know I am not saved by works but by grace alone. That said, because I am saved, I should work. Pray God gives me the strength to do so.

Benjamin does so much for the Lord. He, and the podcast, is a great inspiration to me to do more. I retired last year and have had some health issues; nevertheless, I need to realize that I can still serve the Lord. … 2/3

Men who dress up as women and enter women’s spaces (restrooms, locker rooms) should be immediately arrested and imprisoned. This isn’t provocative. It was the common sense belief a few years ago.

My conscience is pricked over making such a post, me making an “accusation against an elder”, Yet, I hope my words will be authenticated by many others. If not, I am happy to retract them.

Wow! Dr. @drjamesmerritt. Get the verse right. It states, “He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.” He who condemns the JUST. Also, what about recommending your gay son’s preaching. Isn’t that justifying it?
Dr. James Merritt@drjamesmerritt

“He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemned the wicked are both alike an abomination to the Lord.” Proverbs 17:15 There are a lot of politicians in Washington DC especially that need to hear and heed this verse.

@RichardTHenry One of the issues with this is the ecumenicism of many evangelicals in today’s world. Coupled with this is how many people are embraced as being “Christian” simply because they claim to be or are part of a people group claiming to be “Christian”. i.e. all Catholics and Mormons.

Straight facts. The ignorance of American evangelicals is astounding. They largely believe that anyone in the middle east is a Muslim. Forgetting the millions of Christians, their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are there too. Sadly many Christian nationalism types ignore this simple fact too. Shameful

"Evangelicals are partly to blame for the collapse of Middle Eastern Christianity. They are the biggest supporter of wars which destroy Christians."

I wouldn’t drive over 30 minutes just to go to “a bigger church” as @marcminter mentioned. However, I drive almost an hour each way to attend a healthy, Bible teaching, confessional church about the same size as the church I used to attend here in town.
Allen S. Nelson IV@cuatronelson

We used to have members driving 1:45 to be with us Sundays and Wednesdays until they could move closer. There is just something about a healthy church that is hard to explain to people who have not experienced it.

This is a short documentary about the reformation that happened at my church in the 1980's. @BillAscol came and preached the whole counsel of God. God exposed wickedness in the church, and there was a spiritual war about the purity of the church and discipline. The battle was about who is the Lord of the church. By grace, the truth won out, but only with great cost. After Bill, God brought Fred Malone, and then me to pastor here. Thank you @BobTheBaptist for producing this.

🧵1/3 Joel Webbon & JD Hall’s book “the hyphenated-heresy” is revisionist deception. From their Amazon book page: “Politicians and pastors began speaking of a “Judeo-Christian” civilization—a phrase born not on Sinai, but in Washington.” Except, Washington didn’t exist in the 1660s-70s. In fact, it didn’t become our nations capitol until 1800, prior to this it was in Philadelphia. This is important context. Philadelphia is derived from two Greek words: phila (love) and adelphos (brother). The city was named by its founder, William Penn, an English Quaker, when he established the settlement in 1681. Penn chose this name to reflect his vision for a "holy experiment": a community rooted in religious tolerance, peace, and harmony where people of Hebrew and Christian faiths could live as brothers. This had eschatological undertones which I’ll explain below. Early Quakers, including founder George Fox and William Penn, considered themselves to be returning to "primitive Christianity". They held the Bible in high regard and frequently cited both Hebrew and Christian scriptures for guidance. I believe Webbon and Hall are projecting toward the term Judeo-Christian, as they label it “political propaganda” when in actuality “Christian Nationalism” is political propaganda. They’re snakes. You see, by the mid-17th century, the postmillennial expectation of a national restoration of Israel was firmly established in Reformed orthodoxy. John Owen, Increase Mather, and Jonathan Edwards as well as many other post-reformation and puritan scholars had a profound interest in the Jewish people. The Puritans were not *modern* supersessionists. They held a “dual covenant” or "pro-restorationist" view of the Jewish Nation. Dual covenant in today’s terms seems heretical. But inferring what we mean today is anachronistic to apply it to the Puritans. Same goes for Judeo Christian and its concept. Language is always in flux, but truth is not. This view traces back to Theodore Beza and his influential annotations on Romans 11:15 & 26. He shifted the interpretation from the papist view of "all Israel" from the "elect of all nations" to the ethnic Jewish people, a move that became the standard for the Puritan Hope. The puritans spoke of the "Restoration of Israel" or the "Conversion of the Jews" to indicate Judeo-Christian eschatology. While the modern "Judeo-Christian tradition" implies a shared set of civilizational values between two distinct religions, the Puritans saw the relationship through a strictly millennial lens. They viewed Judaism as a sort of parallel value system to be preserved in "judicial laws" of the Old Testament applied to Christian governance. And as a precursor that would ultimately find its "fulfillment" in Christianity at the end of days. Supersessionism has also evolved much. It’s important to note the Puritans followed a "threefold division" of the law given at Mount Sinai, all of which they believed originated from the God of Israel. By Israel, they meant the Jews. Moral Law (The Ten Commandments): Reflects God's eternal character and remains binding for all people at all times. Ceremonial Law: Laws regarding sacrifices and rituals (like Passover) that were fulfilled by Jesus and are no longer binding. Judicial Law (or Civil Law): The specific statutes given by God for the civil government of the nation of Israel. Unlike many modern hyper-supersessionists like Webbon and Hall who believe the NT Church has fulfilled Israel, the Puritans argued that the biblical promises of land and national identity to the Jews were irrevocable. They believed that even after converting to Christ in the end times, the Jews would retain a distinct national identity and return to their ancestral homeland. It’s important to note also, that the Reformed tradition has always held that Israel is the Church (see Ps 89:5 where ekklesia is used for the gathering of the saints / Israel; the fullness of the gentiles is a NT phenomenon).

While folks get bogged down in the details of Sabbath Keeping, it fundamentally comes down to 3 principles: 1) The Sabbath is on the First Day of the Week. 2) You are to rest in the Lord in worship. 3) You are not to make others work unnecessarily in order for you to rest. ~BG

The year is 2026 on X... Apostasy is rampant, and men hate true Christianity. Pastors who slept with their church members and lied about degrees that they don't have teach that Christians must hate their enemies, and that Jesus' lineage doesn't matter. Grifters use "Christ is King" followed by f-bombs and curse words to hate and curse Jews but can't understand why that's taking the Lord's name in vain. Frustrated and defeated single men espouse a patriarchy that hates that God can save and forgive women of their past sins and bless them with a beautiful marriage and children, all while being adulterers of the heart who equally need God's forgiveness. Englishmen who believe Protestantism is heresy, rather than helping their homeland which is being overrun by Muslims, flee to Protestant America to Larp as its citizens for clout, wear MAGA hats, and are the allies for the same camp who teach that only "heritage Americans" have a right to be here and have any say, and the rest must go. Oh, and they call heretical women, "sisters in Christ." A wolfe in sheep's clothing considered the greatest theologian of our time has finally decided after years of lacking basic discernment that a man who calls for a "Protestant Hitler" isn't someone to defend, but he's done so only to maintain his social image. Zionism, Jew, and Dispensationalism have replaced the phrase, "hate-speech," to denounce and cancel anyone that quotes the Bible on Israel and how Christians must treat them with love. Pride month has been swapped for white boy summer. BLM riots has been replaced with anon ratios. The cross has been swapped for the flag. The guy considered the political guru of our time tells Conservatives to vote Democrat. But Worst of all, the Gospel is hated and deemed as "Jesus juke" and "pietism," and replaced with a new social justice gospel of, "We're so back,” the crusades didn't far enough, and, we're going to win." In other words, a gospel of earthly power and political victory. If you've read this far, then understand that true Christianity has always been unpopular, and will never be approved by the world until Christ returns, but this is why you're called to pick up your cross and follow Him (Luke 9:23). In the end, we truly win, but you must endure to the actual end first, and then you'll get your crown (Matthew 24:13, Revelation 2:10). Messiah is King.

@TomHoefling Tom, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of you till I saw this post. Also, I’m a nobody so I don’t blame you for not responding. Nevertheless, what was the context behind II Timothy 3:1-5? What is the rest of II Timothy about? Answers to these questions are important.

Christians, by empowering Donald Trump, are in grave disobedience to scripture, by which they have been strictly commanded to turn away from such men. Read II Timothy 3:1-5 Trump personifies practically every single wicked last days character trait laid out in this passage.

Joel Webbon, the man that platformed Nick Fuentes and Calvin Robinson, saying “You are not wise.” Hmmmmmmm.
Peter@peterpeccavi

Joel complains, oddly like the unrepentant Jews. It’s clear Joel has no understanding of the gospel, as we indeed have peace with God through Christ Jesus our Lord in all things temporal and spiritual. John Owen addresses the same error in his exposition of the Jews’ objection to the Messiah. The Jews insisted that the Messiah’s coming must bring universal, earthly peace. From the Talmud: “Men are so far from beating their swords into ploughshares, that within a few hundreds of years, new instruments of war, never heard of before, have been invented among them who pretend to believe in the Messiah.” You see, they judged the fulfillment of prophecy by outward circumstances, expecting the world to be perfectly tranquil as proof of the Messiah. Joel, in his tweet, echoes this logic. Courage in worldly conflict is treated as the measure of spiritual reality, and anyone not meeting his eisegetical standard is deemed cowardly or unwise. It’s idiocy. Owen refutes this by drawing the true line of the gospel. 1) *Peace with God is primary*. Temporal, worldly peace is only accessory. The Messiah has already wrought perfect peace between God and man, slaying enmity caused by sin. This alone is the absolute, true peace. Not merely reconciling peace through man and God, but by extension cultivating peace with man and man, as we are one body in Christ. 2) *Spiritual reality over outward appearance*. Even amid wars, persecution, and earthly turmoil, believers enjoy peace with God and among themselves. The promise is fulfilled in the soul through Christ, not in the headlines. Joel’s “theology” is the newspaper exegesis error he [rightly] condemns the dispies of. 3) *God’s timing is sovereign*. Outward, general peace will be accomplished in God’s appointed season. Immediate and literal, universal compliance is not required. Not mentioned by Owen, but see also the wheat and the chaff. (Matt 3:12) And yet Owen presses the inconsistency further. The Jews themselves expect great and terrible wars under their Messiah, even the conflict of Gog and Magog. They do not truly believe in universal peace either, only in a peace on their own terms. Joel seems to operate under this same pretense, demanding a peace he does not consistently believe. And then he condemns cowardice as if faith were measured by worldly boldness. Owen shows that the Jews erred in this same way. They judged the Messiah by outward circumstances rather than the spiritual work already accomplished through Christ. But true peace is not a sword beaten into a ploughshare. Instead it’s the reconciled soul resting in Christ from regeneration through eternity. Indeed repent! Not in fear of men, but from the folly of measuring the kingdom of God by human standards. Joel Webbon is a wolf, and a true coward. His condemnation from long ago is not idle. Matt 10:28 Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 2 Peter 2:3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

How The SBC Got Played An unlicensed investigation, a lawyer editing a report about her own client, and $13 million in tithes later, the largest conservative Protestant denomination in America learned what happens when men fear the mob more than they fear God.
