Big news for me personally and professionally. @jon_lewis_ and Alyssa were my top lieutenants at Daily Wire and played a huge role in helping to build and nurture that brand through some of our biggest battles and biggest wins. Working with them again in this new venture is good for the soul and good for the business. The future is never certain. The path is fraught. There be dragons. I feel sorry for the dragons...

I started working for Jeremy at DW in 2021 and immediately knew he had a different vision, message, and strategy for the movement and the country than I had ever seen from the right. He took big risks and put more wins on the board than I had ever thought possible. I’m so honored to be part of this next adventure. I still believe the future of the country and the Movement is bright, but only if we all step up and make it so. I’m already so proud of this show and how much it’s inspiring people, and we’re only just getting started. There’s a lot hard work ahead of us, but as we say often around here: the future belongs to those who build it, and I hope you’ll join us in that endeavor.

I don't know why Jeremy Boreing is no longer at Daily Wire. Rumors that he spent too much money on entertainment or whatever don't make sense to me considering Ben recently announced a new movie in the works. Regardless, what really surprises me about all of this is how excited some "conservative voices" seem to be at the prospect of Daily Wire's venture into filmmaking ending in failure. Dude, we've been complaining about wokeness in Hollywood for years. Yet the moment somebody takes risks and actually tries to do something about it, supposed fellow conservatives descend like vultures praying for their demise, eager to tear apart anything they create. I mean, think about it. Jeremy gets trashed by some of these people for spending "too much" money... doing what... blazing new trails? Taking risks? Attempting something nobody else is doing? Creating alternatives to Hollywood for conservatives? So when Daily Wire spends big bucks bringing an epic book series to life, free from wokeness, and rooted in Christian ideology... EVEN IF YOU THINK IT SUCKED (it's quite good actually), why in the heck would anyone "on the right" consider this a "failure" and cheer for them to lose money on such an endeavor? Rant over. I just had to get this out.

Tucker Carlson called it "evil" when Ben Shapiro suggested Americans should move away from their hometowns toward opportunity. What Tucker is calling evil is one of the most biblical—and one of the most American—things a person can do: Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. But the real story is bigger than Tucker. The left and the populist right are now selling the exact same product: the belief that you don’t have agency, you are a victim, that the world is rigged, and that the only thing left to do is find the enemy and punish him. Last week Candace Owens told the world the Daily Wire had laid off over 50% of its workforce — then updated it to “60% absolute bloodbath.” I’m sure it will shock you to learn those figures aren’t anywhere close to the truth. But there’s a much bigger story beyond Candace’s "mistaken" reporting. The story is how lying has become the default operating system for huge swaths of both legacy media and the new online right. The Grift Industrial Complex rewards speed, sensationalism, and telling the audience exactly what it wants to hear over anything resembling journalistic standards, due diligence, or basic honesty. I know this world because I helped build part of it. We broke past the old gatekeepers for good reason. The old gatekeepers broke all of their own standards. The Official Trailer for The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin is here. I love this trailer because you have a chance to see so much more of Tom Sharp as Merlin. Tom came to us an unknown actor, but somehow he found the strength to carry the entire show on his shoulders. I can't overstate the quality of our cast, which actually makes Tom's accomplishment all the more remarkable. To not only be the lead, but to lead so great a company of talented actors would have been a tough job for a seasoned pro. Of course, now Tom is just that.
