I've been using @harvest for 16 years and today they tell me they want to increase my annual price from $129.60 to $1,116.00 based on my usage. I'm one developer who has half a dozen projects on the go and sends less than 10 invoices a month. Make it make sense.

@JiveDig @beyondcode @LocalWP Nope, I've had to avoid Herd and use Sail or Homestead for my local dev when I have @LocalWP running. It's a little annoying. If they could get this sorted it would make my life so much easier. If I had a lot of free time I would port my dozens of sites in LocalWP to Herd.

Has anyone gotten @beyondcode Herd and @LocalWP to work at the same time? They work one at a time, but I'd love them to both work simultaneously. Seems like a port thing.

Took me 7 minutes to sign up for @loadsterperf, set a test up, and have it run a 3 minute test on a new website. Very easy to use tool and super helpful to know the site could handle 25 bots hitting the site hundreds of times in a short time span.

Claude Code can do some real complex magic, but what I truly appreciate is when it can save me from having to copy and paste content from the client into specific fields over and over and over.

When I was in Minneapolis, I heard a number of crazy stories. But near the top of the list: A couple of off duty ICE and CBP officers were going to dinner in Minneapolis. They were doxed and their location revealed, and the restaurant was then mobbed. The officers were locked in the restaurant, and local police refused to respond to their pleas for help (as they've been directed by local authorities). Eventually, their fellow federal agents came to their aid. This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement. They have created the chaos so they can have moments like yesterday, where someone tragically dies and politicians get to grandstand about the evils of enforcing the border. The solution is staring everyone in the face. I hope authorities in Minneapolis stop this madness.

@daemon404 Inaccurate to call @bendingspoons just a PE company. Yes, they typically fire a lot of people but also seem to be a classic model of acquirer that tries to make successful biz. @evernote was a meandering mess & tho I hated some of the early cuts, now vastly more useful.
