Raven passed her driving test today. I am very proud of her, but sad she doesn’t need me to drive her around anymore. So many of those Dad things are gone now, & I miss them. Every step the children take towards independence, vital though that is, feels like another small piece of my heart cut away. Sometimes I think I’m not cut out to be a parent, it hurts so much more than I expected. Some people may say it’s a good kind of hurt, & it probably is. It just doesn’t quite feel like that today.

@HifiSean Hi Sean, normally just a mix of granola n muesli but this morning all in with cheerios, frosted, granola and coco pops. Frankly hideous but my kids laughed and 5hours later I'm still on a sugar high :-)

I have numerous breakfast cereals mixed together every morning. Been doing this since a child. This morning. Bran Flakes , Granola , sprinkle of Muesli, Banana , Blueberries, Honey. Anyone else do this ? What’s your cocktail ?
