BREAKING via The New York Times: Federal agents delivered subpoenas to several New York Times journalists after the Times published a story revealing that the new Air Force One, the jet gifted by Qatar, lacked key security features found on the older Air Force One. The subpoenas require the reporters to testify before a federal grand jury in Manhattan this Wednesday. A top attorney for the Times called the Trump administration’s move a “brazen act.” The Times reporters who received the subpoenas are Julian E. Barnes, Eric Lipton, Tyler Pager and Eric Schmitt. To be clear: ICE shot and killed a man who was not their target. He had no criminal record, was seeking legal status, & was pushed off the road by unmarked cars. There’s “no body cam footage”, his family can’t recover his body, and the witnesses in his van have been detained.
