One onboarding change took me from $400 to $3k MRR. No new features. Just the first 3 minutes of the app, built properly. Here's exactly how I build onboarding: The checklist: - 15-20 questions minimum (sunk cost: by question 15 they've invested time and won't quit) -Make it feel personalized (they should feel the app was built for them) -Show current status → desired outcome → the gap between both -> how this app will close the gap -End with a summary screen reflecting their answers back to them How to build yours without starting from scratch: -Download your top competitor's app -Go through their entire onboarding and screenshot every screen -Feed those screenshots into claude with the checklist above and prompt it to generate a full question list You'll have a complete onboarding structure in 30 mins, not weeks Being a dev actually changed everything for this part: every change means a new build, a new App Store submission, 3 days waiting for review. so, most founders ship one onboarding flow and never touch it again. I built mine with server-driven updates, meaning every question, every screen, every line of copy updates in real-time. no submission, no review, no waiting. That's how you actually find what works. Not by guessing at launch but by testing relentlessly after it. I usually check my analytics and see what percent drops off from the first onboarding screen to the paywall view screen. if it is less than 15%, i dont touch it. if it's greater than 15% I look through the analytics for each screen and see where theres a drop off i remove it.

i've joined @p0 as head of design. the next decade of software is being written for machines to read. the web wasn't built for that. Parallel is rethinking the web's most foundational primitive, search, for its second user. we're growing the team. hiring our first product designer, brand designer, and design eng to define what this looks like. think the elegance of a well-formed schema, the lineage of the early web. if that's you, DM me your best work.
Parallel Web Systems@p0

We're thrilled to officially welcome @yangyou to Parallel as Head of Design. Yang joins us from Paradigm, where she worked alongside early-stage founders to ship 0-to-1 products and led the firm's rebrand.

Say hello to EigenCloud AgentKit Beta! 🧰 A toolkit for building sovereign agents that can: - Hold assets - Make payments - Run continuously - Prove what they’re running The agentic era needs more than intelligence. It needs sovereignty and verifiability.
Gajesh@gajesh

personal news: stepping into leading developer growth; still doing research engineering. first order of business: sovereign agentkit. deploy a media agent in a few clicks for $10. it owns its own substack, email, and wallet. agents that own property are agents you can own. demo below. it's an experimental beta -- if you face any issues, let us know. try now -- link in reply

Big launch today by @YI_LON. Ryan was pivotal to many of our biggest token deals at @VectorDAO. Rare ability to reconcile informed optimism of what's possible with technical risks and constraints. Excited for his next chapter with @onchaingroup_, crypto is lucky to have him.

Introducing Onchain Group (OG). After leaving Coinbase, I spent time reflecting on what was actually worth working on. My background was as a venture investor — pattern matching, working with founders, and figuring out what’s coming next. What I realized, though, was that the most energizing part wasn’t investing. It was working with teams to define strategy and bring the right transaction into existence, like architecting the Coinbase <> Morpho deal — a new kind of onchain alliance that combined product, capital, and distribution to create an entirely new category and market. It made me wonder: was this a one-off, or the start of something new? Having been in crypto for nearly a decade, this is the most dynamic the space has felt. Onchain products are becoming real businesses, tokens are becoming real assets, and regulatory clarity is opening up an entirely new design space — introducing a new class of capital structuring opportunities. Over the past year, working closely with founders, it became clear that this wasn’t a one-off, but the first of many. The opportunity design space is just beginning — from tokens turning on fees, to restructurings, to equity-like conversions, to acquisitions and distribution partnerships involving tokens. Teams are realizing that getting this right is no longer optional. As onchain products mature into real businesses, taking ambitious steps toward the right capital structure becomes a requirement — and the market is beginning to reward those who do it well. In our conversations with builders, investors, and stakeholders over the past year, it became clear that nobody was exploring this area the right way — with an early-stage mindset, cryptonative intuition, and institutional rigor all at once. So we started Onchain Group. OG exists to define and execute the transactions that create new markets and shape this new system. If crypto is the software upgrade to finance, then capital structure needs to evolve alongside it — requiring ambitious strategy and creative execution.

"Become deeply self aware and when the right thing comes, you will know it. If you know yourself, your next thing, your new idea, your work soulmate will reveal itself." Love this from @travisk...searching for what you should do next is like cleaning your house when you’re procrastinating. It feels productive but is actually you avoiding the real work which is being self aware enough to live each moment presently and fully

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m excited to join @fal as the new Head of Design. I’ve been collaborating with @gorkem and @burkaygur on the fal brand closely over the past few years, so it all made (too) much sense to continue this journey on a more permanent basis (and they could pull me out of FT-retirement). Excited to explore the space of generative media and work alongside the brightest minds. As for the studio, I’ll be still taking on projects under my studio still but on a much much more limited basis. 😌

Refreshing a brand can be nerve-wracking, but its also chance to fully commit to your ambition and shed the baggage of the past. Over the last few months, our Head of Design @jonjyan has been working with the team @mouthwashstudio to update the brand identity for EigenCloud. They've done an amazing job evolving the visual system for Eigen's next chapter, while preserving what makes it one of the strongest brands in our space. Excited to see this work come to life at exactly the moment the world is waking up to the need for verifiable, accountable AI.

✨ New look: The agentic era is here! As this era unfolds, agents will observe, decide, transact, and execute tasks with real value on the line. The next generation of apps and agents will require trust built in. That’s why we’re building EigenCloud, a verifiable cloud for the agentic economy.

EigenCloud has a fresh look and it goes beyond aesthetics. The transforming logo is at the heart of our thesis: 1) Eigen = your own: one core primitive → infinite combinations 2) Modular by structure, permissionless to access 3) Motion-first because the network is dynamic, responsive, generative 4) A visual for open innovation: ideas snap together, split apart, evolve 5) AI future where software is fluid, and ownership + verification matterSame design DNA as the tech: composable, verifiable, sovereign. Great work by @jonjyan and team on the design!

Spent the last three months working closely with @mouthwashstudio on a refreshed brand identity for EigenCloud. While prices are down, and while it feels like all the hype is draining out of crypto, this brand refresh is us doubling down on our core thesis. As AI takes on increasingly higher stakes tasks in our lives, the need for accountability and verifiability on agent outcomes becomes increasingly critical. EigenCloud is the infrastructure that allows agents to be trusted. We’ve visited and revisited our core thesis and are more optimistic than ever. This brand refresh reflects our conviction in what we’re building and I couldn’t be more excited to reveal it to the world.

Crypto sacrificed UX for decentralization, self-custody, permissionlessness, and composability. These very tradeoffs that limited consumer adoption are exactly what make crypto perfect for agent adoption. Agents aren't going to give up because an action takes 12 clicks to complete. Agents can read smart contract code and avoid malicious transactions. Crypto lives in code, the native language of agents. Crypto is permissionless, no API keys needed. Crypto is composable allowing agents to chain actions across protocols at machine speed.
