I'm a restaurant GM who taught myself to code using Claude Code and built Mise: a production AI app that runs my restaurant's back office via voice.
Then I built the CC-Suite: a fleet of 16 autonomous agents that builds, tests, debugs, and adds onto Mise.
6 months. Hours a day. Claude Code the whole way.
The app builds itself. I just tell it what I need.

SITUATION EXPLAINED: Why are people booing AI/Eric Schmidt's speech?
@brexton: Silicon Valley is underestimating how anxious everyone else is about entry-level jobs, data centers, and being told AI is inevitable.
"People don't take it kindly when you talk about AI as an inevitability."
Karan@karankendre
Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt gave a graduation speech that probably increased the fear of students about to enter the workforce He got brutally booed by students attending the event Personally, I think he was right

@tbpn @JoannaStern Used it to build a multi-agent fleet, which I used to build a voice-first ops platform for restaurants, which I just went full time on today. I am now "in" this completely new startup ecosystem, from which I'm drawing crazy motivation that I would not have otherwise had access to
English

"This idea that, 'Hey, we all need to reject AI' — you might actually have AI doing things in your life right now that are actually quite good."
@JoannaStern spent a year using AI to do basically everything in her life. She turned it into a book called "I Am Not a Robot."
One thing she realized during her AI year: people actively benefit from AI *right now*, but don't know it.
"Geoffrey Hinton has been saying for years that radiologists are going to be replaced by AI. But that didn't happen."
"It's actually an amazing change. It can spot cancers that humans can't. And it's out there. Women might be getting their mammograms read [by AI] right now, and they might not know that AI is doing that for them."

@andrewchen I am! Registered for a bunch of events through Partiful, most a16z ones still pending...
Restaurant operator turned AI-native builder of a voice-first ops platform for restaurants @getmise . First Tech Week, looking to get as fully immersed as possible in this awesome ecosystem!

@danmartell I'm still trying to find a role for which I actually need to hire someone...

Metaprompting example I just did for GBrain to rewrite the README in the newest PR:
Read the README as a user who has never used GBrain and doesn't know anything about it. Does GBrain seem good? Do you know what it is? Does it make you feel powerful? Do you know how to get started?
Run an eval against this, and then rate it on 0 to 10, then give it a rating. Why isn't it a 10? Figure out what to do to make it a 10. Then implement it.

🤝We loved working alongside 14 teams of brilliant @VanderbiltU students, alumni and faculty as an official sponsor of Dry Dock, Vandy's venture studio launching companies in quantum software, 🤖robotics, 🚁drones, and🧠machine learning.
Special thanks to @CooleyLLP as well for their support and also to @IBM, @northropgrumman, @LockheedMartin and @NASA for the challenges that were submitted for these teams to solve.

YC is not a nepotism club.
Stop using that as your excuse.
The application is the filter.
Not your LinkedIn, not your warm intro, not who you grabbed coffee with at a SF meetup.
Founders with zero network get in every batch - because their idea was sharp and their execution was real.
The "I don't know anyone at YC" excuse is just a comfortable way to never find out if you're good enough.
Write a better application.

@garrytan Awesome, gonna fork it like it’s hot. What are your thoughts on my open source framework? I call it “The CC-Suite”: github.com/jflaig13/cc-su…

We are building the world’s first hotel on the Moon and we’ve officially selected the launch provider for our first lunar mission.

@CJHandmer Absolutely. I also have a philosophy that people should really stop talking to children *like children*. Couldn’t stand that when I was a kid, try to use less cursing but otherwise just talk to them like a human.
English

I'm always shocked how few 30-somethings I know who are desperate for children have literally never held a baby. Baby holding should be mandatory.

We’re proud to introduce the payloads from 4 NASA centers flying aboard our FLIP rover in the second half of this year (2026)!
From a lunar dust experiment from @NASA_Johnson to a LiDAR demonstration from @NASA_Marshall, explore the FLIP NASA collaborations:

@davidsenra No, thank YOU. Have learned a insane amount & at a truly blazing speed lol
English

Really like how @davidsenra likens each of his sponsors to one of his Founders. Would really appreciate that extra legwork if I were a sponsor. Guys a workhorse.
