@DrPippaM I have only recently become aware of your Father's name and career. He leaves a great legacy, not the least of which is your continuation of his work. My condolences.

My Dad loved teaching. He would have been delighted to hear from so many who studied his thoughts. He taught me how to think as if I was in the Oval Office from an early age. Notice the @FTs in the background. He always said “there’s the news as reported on the front page and then there’s what actually happened. You need to know both”.

It is with great sadness to announce that my father, The Hon. Dr. Amb. Harald Malmgren @Halsrethink has passed from us. He was an advisor to many Presidents and global leaders. He had many important accomplishments. At age 27, he successfully prevented General Curtis LeMay and the Joint Chiefs from dropping a nuclear weapon on the Soviet Union during The Cuban Missile Crisis, thus averting a nuclear catastrophe. He also advised @Toyota to start making cars inside the US at a time when everyone else was offshoring. There is more on his life and his wisdom coming. Thanks to @AmericanALCHMY as well, who filmed him before he passed. Thankfully his passing was peaceful. He loved Twitter and asked me to send thanks to all his followers. Harald B Malmgren July 13, 1935 - February 13, 2025.

I watched the whole confirmation hearing. Here’s my summary: 1) As per usual for Congressional hearing, the main job of the committee members is to score points with their constituents. 2) Job #2 (especially for the opposition) is to take things out of context so as to create a sound byte that they can use against the opponent. 3) Job #3 is to ask a very complex question, sometimes about something that’s actually the job of Congress and not of the agency in question, demand a simple yes or no answer that it would be foolish to provide, and then declare that they got the answer they wanted. Again this is about scoring political points, not about whether the candidate is qualified or the right person to fill the position. In this context it is useful to remember the old proverb: “Even the greatest fool can ask a question that the wisest person cannot answer,” and behave accordingly. 4) There are a lot of Democrats who simply haven’t gotten the message that the majority of the country has already soundly rejected what they have been offering for decades. 5) The women Democrats, in particular, seem to be very bitter about the recent election and are still focused on divisive issues instead of coming together to close the divide and get on with business of the country.

RFK Jr. Walks Out of His Hearing to a Standing Ovation! The hearing played out exactly as expected—plenty of questions were asked, but too little time was given for meaningful answers. In the end, it felt more like a political circus than a productive discussion, leaving little of value for anyone involved. RFK did his best for what he was able to do.

I have lived in a deep blue state my entire life. Most of the people I know and love are voting for Kamala Harris. I don’t think they’re stupid. Or selfish. Or deplorable. These are all kind, caring, intelligent, lovely people. I just think they’re wrong. And I think they’ve been misled. What disturbs me is that these people will reflexively think I’m stupid, selfish, and deplorable for voting against their beloved candidate. They will surely think I’ve ’drunk the kool-aid’ and ‘fallen into a cult’ because they simply cannot fathom how another decent and smart woman could come to such a radically different conclusion. It’s so disheartening. The so-called party of tolerance and inclusion holds exactly zero tolerance and inclusion for contrasting viewpoints that challenge their claimed moral superiority. None of us can see around corners. A vote was never meant to be seen as a moral absolute. I’m not sure who said this first but…my vote is a chess move, not a valentine. It’s a strategic play based on all the evidence I’ve seen. I’m voting to defend free speech, to protect women’s sports, to control our borders, to correct inflation, and to prevent inhumane and coercive mandates from ever being imposed on free Americans again. I’m voting for Trump. 🇺🇸

To those watching what's happening with FEMA in NC - here's a suggestion: Save a lot of money, and probably a lot of lives. Disband FEMA, take half their budget, and contract with Elon's newest company, X-Emergency. Their motto: Help Is Really on the Way.

"It's clear the #Democratic establishment wanted #KamalaHarris to be the nominee. But they knew that if #Biden had announced he would not seek another term prior to the primaries being held, Kamala would have had no chance of winning the nomination fairly. That's because there would have been a series of debates where she would have faced off against far more competent challengers, including @RobertKennedyJr. So, they had to keep up the pretense that Biden was "sharp as a tack" long enough for him to secure the nomination, which he could then hand off to #Kamala after dropping out. To pull off the switch, they organized an unprecedented pre-convention debate with #Trump, (allowing them to feign shock at Biden's mental state), held late enough to ensure that no other Democrat could challenge #Harris, but early enough to ensure they could install her as the nominee before the Convention." -Peter Schiff @ABC @DavidMuir #RFKJr

@OlgaNYC1211 Communism is a political philosophy and economic system. Let's not forget how many people died trying to escape from East Germany. Being born somewhere doesn't make you something. Not a Trump supporter, by the way. We just shouldn't conflate things that may not be related.

So confused,.. Trump keeps calling Kamala a communist while his first wife Ivana can from communist Czechoslovakia and her father was an informant for communist StB security services, a satellite of KGB. Meanwhile, Trump’s 3rd wife came from communist Slovenia with her father who dealt with the communist party of Yugoslavia

Robert F. Kennedy Jr@RobertKennedyJr·
VP Harris’s Democratic Party would be unrecognizable to my father and uncle and I cannot reconcile it with my values. The Democratic Party of RFK and JFK was the party of civil liberties and free speech. VP Harris‘s is the party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion. Kennedy Democrats were anti-war. Kamala‘s is riddled with neocon warmongers. The RFK/JFK dems were allies of Main Street, cops, firefighters, and working people. VP Harris’s is the Party of Big Tech, Big Pharma and Wall Street. My dad and uncle’s party was the champion of voting rights and fair elections. VP Harris’s is the party of lawfare, disenfranchisement, and the coronation of its candidates by corporate donors and party elites. I’ve used our nation’s courts to prosecute corporations who hurt Black Americans. VP Harris used our nation’s courts to mercilessly prosecute Black Americans and exploit them for their labor. My father and uncle prided themselves on their skills at debate and their ability to articulate a coherent vision for our country. VP Harris is scared to debate and can’t survive an unscripted interview. Instead of outlining a vision, she relies on middleschool tactics – memes, forged headlines, infantile slogans (Joy!) and name calling (“Republicans are weird.“) I’ve spent years battling government corruption and lies. VP Harris spent years gaslighting Americans about the health of our Commander in Chief. I have no plans to endorse Kamala Harris for President. I do have a plan to defeat her.

@DavidCornDC It seems ironic that a party having the word “democratic” in its name feels it has to resort to restricting the choice of candidates on the ballot in order to win an election. Are they afraid to debate on the issues?

@KatieSackal @moms4rfkjr @FoxNews @RobertKennedyJr RFK, Jr. has submitted enough names in many states to get on the ballot. That process is controlled by someone who is either a Dem or a Republican, and they can wait until the last minute. Further, once the names are submitted, they try to disqualify. Some states not submitted.

@moms4rfkjr @FoxNews @RobertKennedyJr My understanding is RFK Jr approval rating is less than 10%… he also does not have enough delegates for most states. They went to either Biden or Trump so RFK cannot be on the ballots. Because of this it makes sense. If I am wrong, please feel free to correct me.

It appears that @FoxNews has formally invited former President Trump and presidential candidate Kamala Harris to debate on September 17th, but the invitation makes no mention of @RobertKennedyJr This is a slap in the face, especially coming from the one mainstream outlet that has hosted Kennedy in live interviews several times since he announced his candidacy, and even referred to the 2024 election as a "three-man race" earlier this year. It's a sad reality that Fox, which many saw as a glimmer of hope for fair coverage, seems willing to absorb potential @FEC fines for making what amounts to an illegal campaign contribution by highlighting two candidates, but shutting out a third. It’s looking to me like Fox News is no better than CNN and other mainstream media who simply cave to their corporate advertisers when push comes to shove. What do you think? Will Fox extend an invitation to RFK Jr. as well, or will they continue down this path of silencing voices for meaningful change? Let's discuss in the comments below.

I disagree.. This shows the true difference between Dems vs Republicans. Biden selflessly put America’s best interest above his own — unlike the other guy, who’s running to stay out of jail and pardon himself. So thankful to & proud of Biden for all he’s done for years and for this selfless act. He’s a true American hero & patriot. Thanks Joe for everything.

@AvalonianLegion @laurenlee After Perot scared the pants off the two parties in '92, they took the debates away from the non-partisan League of Women Voters so they could write the rules to make sure that scenario would never happen again. Rarely do I talk to someone who says they disagree with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on policy. It's always, "but he can't win. It's Trump or Biden." The idea that we are so enslaved by the two-party system that we MUST vote for a lesser of two evils is entrenched in the American psyche, a product of corporate brainwashing. Throughout history, we've had a few special opportunities to disrupt the system - but never believed in ourselves enough to vote when it counts. In 1992, Ross Perot had the poll numbers to beat Bush and Clinton. We know now that if everyone had voted based on their polling preferences, we would've had our first independent President since, well, George Washington. Today we stand at a crossroads in American history. For the first time in decades, we have an even greater chance of breaking the two-party system. Joe Biden is out of the race entirely. It's a matter of time before we have a replacement. And Trump still loses to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a landslide, according to polls. The question is: can Americans change their mindset? Will we realize we are truly free? Or are we too disillusioned to rescue ourselves from the corporate stranglehold on our politics? This is our chance... if only we dare to seize it.
