Alice Michael Attwood walked into his daughter’s bedroom late at night with a serrated kitchen knife, and stabbed his 8-year-old girl in the neck, severing 75% of her upper esophagus.
He also stabbed his 7-year-old boy.
She required emergency surgery to save her life, and was on a feeding tube for months.
Attwood, who says he’s a woman, was released two days later, free to wander our streets for more than a year.
He has now been sentenced to just 5 years in prison.
