Yesterday marked 1 year of Angie's and my journey of health and wholeness. We didn’t do any diets, use any unnatural supplements, or pay for any workout programs. We ate whole foods. We got got active. We made the best decisions, meal by meal, day by day. Down 97.8lbs ✌️

Men are paying $2K for one day with Andy Elliot so he can say hard things to them & challenge them to succeed. Most churches can’t reach these guy for free. Many pastors will say, “Well, they don’t want to hear hard things & don’t want to change.” Me: “Maybe it’s the opposite.”

@drantbradley How do we set high-bars, and encourage men to do hard things without it becoming toxic on the other side of the pendulum? From the clips I've seen of Elliot the focus seems solely on gaining money, women, and power. Hurting men will always spend $$$ if someone promises those.

@trentonwalker I think I understand what you're trying to say. I really have no emotional connection to Jesse and whatever you call what he does. I do find this to be a great example of how we can use one preferred english translation of Scripture and read into it what we want to hear.

I mean, how bad is Ted Lasso season 3? Disjointed script, anemic plot, aimless character development, awkward tone, a sad cocktail of “if I only had a heart” and if “if I only had a brain”. I’ve never seen a show start so well and then tank so badly.
