People sacrifice their lives to protect their egos. The fear of losing costs them what they can’t afford to lose. A man afraid to die cannot be free. Be blessed. Be free.

From 1.1 kg to 5.5 kg of strength 💜 Baby A’s journey is a reminder that even the tiniest fighters can grow into something powerful. To every preterm parent still in the journey, hold on. Growth may be slow, but it is happening every single day. #newbornhealth #pretermbaby

BREAKING NEWS! RWENZORI MARATHON 2026 Elite runners from around the world have started asking for invitations like they do with other big marathons around the world. They are sending in their best times something I never expected but being a label is opening doors for Uganda . Those elite athletes sending in their times are brands in their own rights and they come with big brands like Nike, adidas etc That’s massive PR for a country, kasese and @RwenzoriMarathn, also means so much for us to learn and execute for a world athletics label road race. Those elite athletes numbers will skyrocket when we announce the money awards in May God willing.

Kaynela Farms kaynelafarmsltd.com Zion Wekesa and I have been hanging around home and about town only 2 of us, the rest of family was out of the country. Such times are very good for son dad bonding, I have attended all his basketball games which have been many in the last 2 weeks. He plays for his school teams both under 16 and under 20yrs team and been making sure am home daily at 3pm, finish my work at home anyways. The mentorship has shifted full gear from the first born to the last born like you can see. How many of you have heard about Kaynela farms? About 30kms from Kayunga? Fantastic place, massive swimming pool, massive rooms, quads for ridding around the farm, bicycles, ostriches, 90% of what you eat is from the farm it’s self. Just so good seeing Ugandans being very innovative. Yes, we must complain about our politics but we must also do things, not watching premier league and dancing alone. Super place for family

Please don't miss that end of year party even if your office is just 10 people, the sauce you'll collect once alcohol gets involved is top notch, you're about to find out why you're not moving up the corporate ladder, who's chewing whom, which bosses don't like each other. 😂😂😂

When I saw Geraldine’s writings on the internet a few years ago, I knew immediately that I wanted to hire her. Through grit and hard work, she’d paid herself through MUK. That kind of resilience and determination is very winsome. A few years later, she knocked on my door — she needed to quit and leave for Europe for further studies. I was crushed. I was losing such star of team. Anyway, we supported her in our small ways to get to Europe. As soon she started her MBA, Imperial Brands noticed what we already knew. They hired her as a financial analyst. And then Google came knocking. She’s now a finance analyst in their Revenue to Cash operations. Every time she’s in Uganda, she brings her expertise back to help our team and our company, without monetary expectation. She’s family. I am incredibly proud of Geraldine and the great exploits she’s having in the world. Another reminder that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. By the way, she’s still single and I am vetting prospects 🤣🤣

After 20 years of travelling to Uganda, it’s been an absolute joy to bring my wife & son to the Pearl at last. The come back against SA for 3-3 last week was among many highlights. Sincere thanks to everyone for the amazing hospitality. This is a very special country. Asanti Sana

When you're 40, you don't play with your bones and ligaments 😂 So I had to seek Uganda's next best Orthopaedic Surgeon @PennyKagina of @OrthoSocietyUg at @corsuhospital who checked me & recommended RICE + medication. The #August plan does not change, but I'll swap some runs with walks. I learnt more about bones today than I did in my 4 years of biology at Meru School 😂 On! On!

We all dread this day, especially if you run on gravel, because as surely as day turns to night, an injury will come. Yesterday morning, I suffered a hard and painful fall less than 2 kilometers into my run, injuring my left knee and the fingers on my left hand. I tried to run again and shake off the pain, but I couldn't go beyond another 2 kilometers because of the pain and discomfort. Sensing defeat, I walked back home, bruised from the fall but more battered by my thoughts about how I'll participate in the @MakRun_Ug, @RwenzoriMarathn, and #RotaryCancerRun. As I recuperate and hope nothing's too serious, I'll remember my words: movement is a privilege, so don't take it for granted. Walk, run, swim, or jump while you still can.

I also tasted ginger coffee for the first time and it was strangely nice. Guys experiment a lot with coffee. I saw several blends of coffee on the menu (imagine salted caramel coffee for example 🤣)

Addis Ababa has such a vibrant coffee culture. I stopped by a café out of curiosity & was struck by the number of locals queueing, seated & engaged in hearty conversations over cups of coffee at midday. It felt more like an organic ritual 😅🤣
