@HoodiDrake He’s a rookie coming off what we all thought was going to be season-ending injury. He had flashes of greatness this season, he’s going to be very good

I don't understand the outrage about Belichick not being a first ballot hall of famer. Belichick was responsible for the biggest cheating scandals in the entire history of the NFL. He turned cheating in NFL games into a science. He hired staff members whose only responsibility was to finds ways to cheat. He tried to cheat in every way possible to win games. He stole playbooks from opposing team player hotel rooms, bugged opposing team locker rooms, had staff spy on opposing team practices prior to the game, had opposing team headsets go out on crucial plays during the game, forced the NFL to change some of the rules because of illegal plays like the ineligible player scandal during a playoff game against the Ravens, etc., etc., etc. The fact that he was allowed to keep his Superbowl championships was a travesty. He actually shouldn't be considered for the Hall of Fame at all. I haven't read one single response that has bothered to mention any of this.

Absolutely Petty: Bill Polian was a huge influence in Bill Belichick not being a first ballot HOF’er, with an anonymous voter saying Polian told voters Belichick should have to wait a year as penance for Spygate and Deflate Gate.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Patriots legendary HC and 8x Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick will NOT be a first ballot hall of famer, per @SethWickersham Belichick fell short of the 40 out of 50 votes needed for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. WOW.

@CalebMontour @SundaeDivine Is that also how you feel about the police officers assaulted during the Jan 6th insurrection at the Capitol?
English

@SundaeDivine Im sorry, have you ever needed to chase someone worried for your life as you are surrounded by people shouting, throwing and grabbing you.

@SRSSho83 @_GamerBabeJess @BBGreatMoments Common sense would be to look at history of players having great seasons after 40. Fisk ‘90, Darrell Evans ‘87, Biggio ‘06, Musial ‘62, Mays ‘71, Baines ‘99, Rickey Henderson ‘99, Rose ‘81…
English

@jparton19 @_GamerBabeJess @BBGreatMoments Yup seems totally natural a 40 yr old hits 38 hrs, 127 RBIs with a 315 average. Dude literally didn’t slow down. Common sense man

@_GamerBabeJess @BBGreatMoments Ortiz’s name appears in a NYT published list of 104 players who tested positive for a potential banned substance in spring training of 2003. MLB says that number should be 96. He passed every drug test he was given since then (including his best seasons).

@BBGreatMoments the hall of fame will always be a joke without Barry Bonds.
and the steroids excuse is invalid when needle lover David Ortiz got in.

For those of us who grew up in the 1980s, there were two teams who were always on.
The Braves (TBS) and the Cubs (WGN).
By default, Dale Murphy and Ryne Sandberg became part of our childhood.
A piece of all of us is lost now.

@devers_mvp @_MLFootball I second that Pollard is definitely enemy #1 of Patriots fans. Guy took out Brady & Welker’s knees, Gronk’s ankle before the SB, and literally knocked out Ridley. He was an assassin.
English

@_MLFootball Patriots most hated player is for sure Bernard Pollard. Dirty player and has no place anywhere near New England

TRENDING: #Commanders wide receiver Deebo Samuel’s route has gone viral.
😳😳😳
What do you notice…?

@amburris13 @JuliusC23680344 @MattMcCarthy985 I’d argue that the Patriots going to 3x super bowls in a row and winning two of those is the same. But will give you that it is a remarkable feat by both teams.
English

@JuliusC23680344 @MattMcCarthy985 Well, no other team has won back to back…then went back to the SB to defend for a 3rd time…so there is that.

#Jets coach Robert Saleh told reporters that QB Aaron Rodgers is not at minicamp today, an unexcused absence that is subject to fines. Saleh said it was for an event "important to him." Pass-rusher Haason Reddick, who wants a new contract, is also not present.

@timecaptales @fasc1nate That defense had Warren Sapp, Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. No wonder he was a backup.

A 2006 photograph captures the Miami Hurricanes football team in a poignant moment of prayer at midfield, mourning the loss of their teammate, Bryan Pata, who was tragically shot and killed.
Fifteen years after the incident, Rashaun Jones, who can be seen as No. 38 on the left in the photo, was charged with Pata's murder.
