@elonmusk I was a Tech VP of Int'l Sales in 2001, & went on a USAID Trade Mission to Cairo, Egypt & Amman, Jordan in May 2001. We had to bribe the guards all the cash we had (~$1200 USD) to get our stuff in country. EVERY country I've ever went to for business (~40) is corrupt
Elon Musk@elonmusk
USAID should be called USCON

@ByGerrySullivan You're still a dick & that hurts my head. Still a dick that I thought was d*ad. Sabres fans are having fun, and you're still the one #Orleans #stillTheOne

Yesterday, my daughter, Kyra, passed away peacefully after a 9 month and 11 day fight against one of the cruelest diseases I’ve ever seen up close. She was diagnosed with Brain Cancer, specifically Glioblastoma. I have felt all of your concern and love for these months and wasn’t ready to be anymore specific than I was.
Kyra was a 28-year-old young woman who loved deeply and who is impossible to describe in 280 characters. While her life got stolen from her, she handled these months with courage, poise, and resolve. And all I want is for no family to feel what we feel today. For no young person to suffer the way she did.
In lieu of flowers, if you are moved to make a memorial gift, please consider “The Kyra Fund” (fundraise.gbmresearch.org/thekyrafund)
This fund will be used solely to research treatments for Glioblastomas.

@JonnyRoot_ We live in a country where everything is basically split 50/50. In this case, about 90% of the players went along in support, but that's not enough. It's NEVER enough. Gets old
English

@ZigSportsVoice Zig, it's good for the Sabres any which way. They traded over $10M in salary for two soon to be UFA's, w/ Bowen fully wanting to go be a big time #1D. Now, they can pay Tuch w/ these savings, or choose not to & use trade assets like you said to get proven talent or draft more
English

On paper, the #Sabres - #Blackhawks trade appears to be favoring Buffalo...let's all relax, considering 2 proven commodities are gone...if these picks acquired turn out to be McDavid and Draisaitl, then it's a fleece...or, if they're even kept...trader Jarmo may have something else in the hopper.

@NUCLRGOLF I rarely agree w/ Eamon, but I 100% agree with him here, and just said basically the same

🚨🗣️😳 #WATCH — Golf Channel commentator Eamon Lynch suggests the PGA should not be played on Long Island following poor fan behaviour. “The PGA is supposed to go back to Bethpage in 2033. That should not happen..these ppl do not deserve a major…”
Agree?
English

After last year's embarrassment at the @rydercup at Bethpage Black, & this & other performances at Shinnecock, maybe the @PGA & the @USGA should take a hiatus of trying to play in the "coveted" New York Metropolitan market. NY/NJ fans are the most obnoxious in the US

😳🫃⛳️ #WILD — After Rory McIlroy hit a tee shot earlier, a heckler yelled "get in the bunker... I hope you live there today!" Rory responded with a signal to the size of his belly 😭

This guy needs to shut the hell up. Now that he's got HIS money from all of this, there's ZERO benefit to saying things that are not helpful on multiple fronts.
"Glorified KFT event?" SUPER not helpful for the PGA Tour trying to land sponsors, or keep them on board.
"False economy?" SURE.... not wrong... but you don't need to SAY it, because now your fellow players are going to get hit with the Tour possibly rolling back purses.
And then the wry little flex of "as my own schedule gets less and less through the years...." okay, bud. We get it. You are rich, and you have the career grand slam.
This is not stuff that helps, or inspires. Say less.
Josh Carpenter@JoshACarpenter
Rory calls the Track 2 tournaments “glorified Korn Ferry Tour events.” Also says LIV created a “false economy” and that the pre-LIV PGAT wasn’t that bad

Let's take a moment to focus on good in golf. I'm talking about Jack and Barbara Nicklaus.
Yes, I often pick on Nicklaus courses, but in the light of recent news, I wanted to highlight the Nicklaus family.
There has never been even a puff of smoke about Jack being anything other than a fantastic husband, father and grandfather.
Further, Jack and Barbara have a legacy of philanthropy that will leave an impact long after they're gone.
-Nicklaus Children's Hospital
-The Memorial Tournament's donations to the Nationwide Children's Hospital
-The Barbara and Jack Nicklaus Junior Golf Endowment
-Play Yellow to benefit the Children's Miracle Network
And so much more.
Good people, staying true to each other and doing a lot of good with what they've been given.
That is all.

@markschlereth I love how many people dislike @ClayTravis yet he is smarter & more successful than 99.8% of them. #TDR
English

@CurryHicksSage He pays for the entire production cost of his show (studio, nitwits on the show, etc), then "licenses" it back to ESPN, like @sternshow does on @SIRIUSXM

This fully broke my brain. I don’t even dislike McAfee. He’s even made me laugh once or twice. I just can’t fathom how this makes business sense. Are there that many rabid fans? Does his content generate that kind of money in ad revenue? What am I missing here? Asking genuinely

@Top100Rick I recall an interview that Ted Scott did a few yrs ago where when Scottie asked him to caddy, Ted said no, unless Scottie learned to control his temper. Ted wasn't going to deal with it. Scottie has played so well since they started, maybe he never fixed it, it just never showed
