@SahilBloom Really good point Sahil. I personally acknowledge that and am building up my business in China to the point where it can run itself without me needing to be here as often, and give myself flexibility to be anywhere I want, rather than move back home now and find a full time job.

Haven’t shared a fitness update recently. Not training for anything at the moment, but wanted to test myself this morning: - 20 mile progression - 6:49 average pace I think a 2:49 marathon attempt is in the cards for the fall. I’ll share a detailed training plan when ready.

Hey Jared! Happy you think so! Really enjoying building this. We have so many layers, from over the years, both technical and creative. Honestly, if the game clicks for a strong player base we can continue to sustain our team, evolve our AR and have a good foundation to incorporate assets. If it doesn't then we have to look at plan bs. There's much to do, but i think we're off to a promising start :))

@levelsio This is so true. Americans have this weird obsession with Japan when in reality there are a lot better places to visit. And the cultures are much more open too. I’ve been living in Shanghai for almost 10 years and when I visited Tokyo wasn’t impressed in the slightest.

Every single time here I see Americans announce their trip to Asia "Asia" is always Japan I lived in Asia for a decade and when I see it I'm always like hmmm Asia is 4.5 billion people and you're visiting the country with 125 million that's rapidly depopulating with a culture that stopped evolving socially, economically or even technologically around 1995, possibly the least interesting country in Asia Japan's cultural export is undeniable but it's also highly cringe, a culture obsessed with childishness that exports anime and pushes grown ups to forever stay in their childhood with plush toys and cute stuff, omggg kawaiiiiiii!! ^_____o There's a lot more to Asia and I'd say skipping Japan is your first step to do it properly Go to South Korea, a highly modern tech country with amazing infrastructure, then Taiwan which is a nice way to see how pre-Mao China would have looked kinda Then go visit a big city in China (not Hong Kong!) like Shenzhen or Qongqing or Chengdu, you're now in a country with 1.4 billion people! Have Sichuan hotpot in China with people that don't speak a word English, have an actual experience of traveling Asia Then visit Vietnam (the fastest growing country in Asia now), a bit of a mix between China and South East Asia Do something different! Most of Asia is highly safe, I know cause I lived there for a decade, and every single place I felt more safe than in Europe or US, never got robbed, never had anything happen to me I'm sure this post will get a lot of angry replies because it's an inconvenient truth I'm not trolling or baiting, I truly believe this Go explore the rest of Asia and skip Japan for now
@levelsio@levelsio

Other thing about Japan to Americans with the Japan blindspot It's not a modern "futuristic" country, everything is old and stuck in 1990 China, Korea and then parts of Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand are more modern and futuristic in most ways

95% By the time your child turns 18, you've spent ~95% of the time you will ever spend with them in your lifetime. There are specific windows—much shorter than you care to imagine or admit—during which certain people and relationships will occupy your life. You may have only one more summer with all of your siblings, two more trips with that old group of friends, a few more years with your wise old aunt, a handful of encounters with that coworker you love, or one more long walk with your parents. If you fail to appreciate or recognize these windows, they will quickly disappear. Time Wealth is about an awareness of these windows, and taking action against that awareness. It's about recognizing that you are in more control of your time than you realize. That you can take actions to create time with the people you love most. Show up to that recital. Plan that trip with old friends. Grab that quick coffee. Go on that walk with your parents. Have that meal with your sibling. In the end, it's not about the journey, it's not about the destination, it's about the company—the people along the way. Cherish the people and the rest will fall into place as it should. These are some of the many perspective-shifting insights from my new book, The 5 Types of Wealth. It will help you ask the questions you've been avoiding so you can create the change necessary to build your dream life.
