@CatherinVaritek Henry spent until he starting venturing off in other pro sports leagues. What Cora and staff did in 2018 with that bum as an owner is incredible. Cora was a scapegoat to ass kissing Breslow who thinks his moneyball approach will be successful. Get Tek back and let Theo run team.

Beat SEA week 1 and the momentum is going to be there.
For the first time in forever, I kept my expectations lower last year saying 10-7. So just that run they went on made the season way more enjoyable.

Notre Dame and Marcus Freeman are recruiting really well, not taking anything away from that.
But it is noticeable that at the moment, they do not have a single California commit. They have lost every head to head recruiting battle with USC and the other Cali schools thus far ✌️

What Notre Dame is doing and about to do in recruiting is unprecedented. So much so it’s changing the narrative within College Football with one source from another Top D1 program telling me: “It’s no longer a matter of them trying to recruit guys that they want, and hoping for a commitment. They get to decide who they want and they will get them.” And they’re not the only ones as others are starting to take notice as well. @CoachBeede They are actually fully funded financial aid institutions. So a lot of aid is given to those deserving, who match all of the above. Great league for all sports and some chose the education at a school like this over D2 offers.

NESCAC recruiting is a different sport.
Williams, Amherst, Tufts, Bowdoin, Bates — these coaches care about:
AP course load
Whether the athlete reads
Whether the family can pay (no athletic scholarships)
Whether the kid genuinely wants the academic experience
If your son hates school, NESCAC is not the answer.

John Henry spoke on the Red Sox slow start to 2026 and the “sell the team”chants at Fenway, via email with @SBJ: “Fans get frustrated…. The Sox looked terrible for (their) first 25 games. I remember a plane flying overhead when we (Liverpool) were beating Manchester United 7-0 that read ‘FSG OUT!’… It doesn’t mean you ignore them, it means you work harder – you don’t settle for mediocrity. You have to win."
