@WPotato01 Pikmin has managed to retain its gameplay formula without accidentally butchering it for years, yes, it tripped a little with Pikmin 3, but that game was STILL able to retain its identity without changing much

@onlyhereforpkmn pikmin 3 dx piklopedia is ass and is somehow actually even worse than i thought after I watched this video, wdym the unlock mechanics were changed so that now you have to carry the creature back to the onion instead of just killing them

Not sure if this counts (and it might be in my head due to the low res at the time) but I do miss the slight realism Animal Crossing NL's grass used to go for. It gave the game a lot of character and I was sad to see it sanitized out in the Switch one

@frigamarrymepls @RealPoi_15 @Raythesnivy imo decoration fits better in the TL series as you were always some sort of godlike figure or observer. Also acnh villager dialogue is so bland but it doesn’t seem to be the case with TLLTD (there are some lines which remind me of the gamecube AC and that’s a good thing)

@Jau__CR @Goobert0717 @CherryCharIotte Ngl I do miss the concert hall the most but on the 3ds there was downtime spent doing absolutely nothing (which is probably why these extra events were added anyways), in LTD Miis have problems much more frequently

@Goobert0717 @CherryCharIotte I think people are defensive because it's simply not true 😭. People forget TL 3DS's gameplay was 95% of the time staring at your Mii inside their apartment

at launch it was a 10/10 but after the 50th time of your miis talking about charlie kirk it goes to a 5/10 with little incentive to open it for more than 5 minutes

as somebody currently playing tomodachi life on the 3ds, a lot of the things people think are better than ltd feel like stuff theyre just misremembering lol. aside from the family content and cutscene variety, ltd feels superior

@akatopherr there are certain lines which are funny and remind me of the gamecube animal crossing, the miis can straight up reject your suggestions and they do have some autonomy
unlike ACNH the island builder is easy to use, and decoration fit better for TL in my opinion

@akatopherr @perplexexpress ACNH changed too much for me. Ofc not all of it are bad changes but im not a huge fan on the DIY stuff, the fact that ALL of your tools break, villager dialogue is bland
TL, while it does exchange content for other content like ACNH did, at least the miis have personality (cont.)
