Earlier today, gunmen opened fire on a man near 35th and Rhodes on Chicago's south side. Two innocent bystanders were shot, including an 8 year old child. The intended target was also shot; all 3 are in stable condition.

The Sheriff called the victim racist for saying "He was black and looked like he was going to run" as justification why he followed the guy.
