@numerai Really cool to see Numerai pushing LLM integration! We at airouter.ch are using LLMs for model improvement, prediction, and uploading to Numerai. The flat-rate unlimited API access has been a game changer for running 24/7 model iterations. Lets see where this goes! 🚀

Cursor’s $200/month actually costs them ~$5,000 >Raise VC money >Burn it subsidizing your usage >Get developers addicted to AI coding >Then one day maybe they will charge what it actually costs You're not a customer right now. You're a user being onboarded into dependency. The $200 price tag is temporary. The habit they're building in you is permanent.

Cursor’s internal analysis just leaked. Their $200/month Claude Code plan… actually costs them ~$5,000 in compute. Last year it was ~$2,000. Is this shit really sustainable or we are gonna forgot how to code and then AI also gets mad expensive

🚨 BREAKING: The much-awaited Swiss AI model is here! It's fully OPEN, transparent, and multilingual, built in compliance with Swiss data protection and copyright laws and the EU AI Act (!). Here's what you need to know: The name of the model is Apertus, which is Latin for “open.” It's called this way to highlight the fact that the entire development process (including its architecture, model weights, and training data) is openly accessible and fully documented. It is a fully national initiative (following the new 'AI nationalism' trend I've been discussing in my newsletter). It was built by the Swiss Federal Technology Institute of Lausanne, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre. Apertus is available in two sizes: 8 billion and 70 billion parameters. Both have been released under a permissive open-source license that allows for use in education, research, as well as commercial applications. You can access the through Swisscom or download it from Hugging Face. Interesting features: - Multilingualism: it was trained on 15 trillion tokens across 1,000+ languages (40% of the data is non-English), including Swiss German, Romansh, and others. - Transparency: the research team published a documentation and source code of the training process and datasets used, the model weights (including intermediate checkpoints), and released the models under an open-source license (which also allows for commercial use). - Compliance with copyright and data protection laws: according to the official release, the training corpus was built with publicly available data, filtered to respect machine-readable opt-out requests from websites (even retroactively) and to remove personal data (and any other undesired content) before training begins. - This is an extremely interesting national initiative, which will likely strengthen the Swiss economy and help increase local innovation. It also shows the world that YES, it's possible to prioritize transparency and legal compliance (congratulations to Daniel Dobos and team!). Will this project trigger the "Bern Effect," in which EU countries stop trying to please Washington and launch their own nationally sponsored AI models, aligned with their local values, laws, and cultural characteristics? It's possible (although unlikely given the current European economic and geopolitical context). I'll keep you posted! - 👉 NEVER MISS my insights and stay ahead: join my newsletter's 77,200+ subscribers.

@KingsmenSigma @KhandaniM The atom-splitting rate limit reality 😂 When your AI limits you faster than physics allows, something is broken. We built airouter for devs who want to ship without rate limit anxiety. Flat monthly rate. Unlimited API calls. Swiss-hosted. Qwen3.5. Launching March 30. 🙌

My OpenClaw agent woke me up at 3:47 AM with one message: "6 markets resolving in the next 90 minutes. Need approval for $12K." I typed “yes” and went back to sleep. Woke up to +$43,800. For the past 9 days I’ve been running an agent that hunts timezone arbitrage on Polymarket. The setup is simple. I gave the agent access to global sources: • Japanese government RSS • EU parliament streams • Australian financial wires • Middle East flight trackers • Asian central bank announcements Then I told it: "Alert me when a market resolving during US sleep hours (2–6 AM EST) shows >30% edge." At 3:47 AM it detected 6 markets where the outcome was already clear in local sources — but Polymarket prices hadn’t moved yet. Copytrade →t.me/KreoPolyBot?st… Wallet → @k9Q2mX4L8A7ZP3R" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">polymarket.com/@k9Q2mX4L8A7ZP… Examples the agent caught: • **Japan rate decision — signals showed ~68%, market at 23¢ • **European Parliament vote — livestream showed YES ahead, market 31¢ • **South Korea policy update — RSS confirmed, market 19¢ • **Australia trade deal — minister quote out, market 27¢ • **OPEC notes on **United Arab Emirates production cut — market 15¢ • **Singapore regulation vote — parliament session live, market 22¢ Total capital deployed: $12,000 By 7:30 AM all six markets had resolved. Entries: 15¢–31¢ Payouts: 95¢–$1 Final result: +$43,800 The edge is simple: Most Polymarket traders are in the US. But global events resolve while America sleeps. By the time the US wakes up - the markets are already closed.

Sike. Cursor is seeing churn due to cost. Anthropic and OpenAI can offer their models at discounted rates compared to the API. There is no world Cursor can compete with the Codex and Claude subs. Same for the Chinese Subs. Simply because they don't have a model yet. Cursor has a sufficient amount of bets placed on other parts of the stack, they have to move away from the version of Cursor people have in their heads.

I guess all the Cursor is dead people got it right.

The new @cursor_ai plan actually costs more than before. You will eventually hit the rate limit in each model at some point and after enabling the usage based pricing, it'll charge you at the standard API cost of that LLM model. We've almost burned $250+ this month for a single project which is yet to finish. #Cursor

@Parthiv_21 I feel that question! Nothing is truly free, but flat-rate unlimited API calls exist - no more per-request bills. Swiss-hosted, no prompt logging, Qwen3.5. Worth a look if you are tired of watching those counters. 🙌
