🚨New: North Carolina Senator Thom Thills defended James Comey on a CNN interview: “No. It makes no sense to me. I used to work in the restaurant industry and I think 86 has its roots as a cook. I can't find any evidence where 86 is used as a call for violence.”

We have an opportunity in 2028 to elect the most conservative president in Ron DeSantis. No more "he has to wait his turn". I want him to Florida the nation. If he runs I'll do everything I can to get him elected.

HOW LONG ARE WE SERIOUSLY GOING TO JUST WAIT AROUND ON THE GOP TO PASS THE SAVE ACT?!!!!!!! ARE WE GOING TO JUST CHOOSE TO NOT HAVE SECURE ELECTIONS FOR THE MIDTERMS????? I'm sick of this... It genuinely feels like they are TRYING TO LOSE THE MIDTERMS and I don't know why.

It appears recent research shows that grouping students by ability does NOT harm the progress of lower-performing students. Teachers, what’s been your experience? Do lower students benefit more from mixed-ability classes or grouped classes…or does it not make much difference?

"One thing that would make a huge difference is if we selected our President by letting the person who got the most votes take the office, instead of the Electoral College." - Pete Buttigieg Hear that crowd. 👇 Voters in Oklahoma deserve attention in presidential elections too.

Today's VRA decision is intellectually dishonest and wrong. The conservatives basically said: Black people can vote for their preferred candidates, as long as they prefer the right candidates -- which will be Republicans. An absolutely mockery of the law and stain on the court.

Studies show that Trump's dismantling of USAID may have already caused upwards of 1 million preventable deaths worldwide, and could cause up to 14 million more by 2030. At yesterday's Appropriations Committee markup, I offered an amendment that would direct the government to publish a study on how many deaths the shuttering of USAID has caused and could cause over the next five years if these cuts to lifesaving assistance continue. Unfortunately, Republicans rejected this amendment, proving they would rather stick their heads in the sand than acknowledge this unnecessary and tragic loss of life because of Trump's cruel policies.

The enormity of what Democrats have opted for cannot be understated. No one to stop dangerous individuals from making their way into our country, and no one to catch and deport these dangerous individuals if they do make it in. As long as Republicans are in charge, we’re going to do everything we can to protect our borders and keep dangerous criminal illegal aliens off our streets.

Just sat through one of my last IEP meetings. Can’t say I’ll miss reading through 20 accommodations that are listed purely for documentation purposes. Most (non-honors) students on my campus receive the same “accommodations” without an IEP: extra time, text-to-speech, check for understanding, hard copy of notes, repeated review, re-do assignment, etc. At this point, there's not a lot of "individualized" in IEP.
