@ArielSam924 Oh wow, I’m about to dive back in. But I gave up at 15. I applaud the commitment.

Say what you want about millennials but I have watched every episode of NINETEEN seasons of Grey's Anatomy. Through the ferry thing and the plane crash and all the other dumb shit. Too invested to give up in something because of the hours of commitment. Analyze it, idc.

Read a great Reddit thread putting historical dates in perspective. Here are 8 gems. 1/ The moon landing was only 66 years after the Wright Brothers first flight (1903-1969). Within a lifetime, humans went from having limited flight tech to travelling ~239k miles from Earth.

Tackling loss & damage is critical to protect vulnerable people on frontlines of #ClimateEmergency. The establishment of the loss and damage fund by #COP27 is an important recognition that climate justice must be delivered. This is just the first step, lots of hard work ahead.
António Guterres@antonioguterres

#COP27 has taken an important step towards justice. I welcome the decision to establish a loss and damage fund and to operationalize it in the coming period. Clearly this will not be enough, but it is a much-needed political signal to rebuild broken trust.

An amazing, spontaneous moment as @marthadelgado scraps her speech and calls on stage those who were present at the Beijing 1995 conference, celebrating the endurance of their fight and the energy created by the new initiatives we’re still dreaming up today 🥹#GenerationEquality

We joined leaders and activists across youth, science, policy, private sector, and communications as we talked about how to reduce plastic waste, protect SIDS and least developed countries and work together on innovative solutions ahead of #COP27. @juditarenas @ddleonsLRI

It was an exciting honor to deliver a statement on behalf of @apcoworldwide at the #UNOC2022 on the need for more participation from the private & business sectors in #ocean governance & breaking down silos to work towards joint and progressive solutions to #saveouroceans.
APCO@apcoworldwide

Our @juditarenas, @jumanjimonge, @ddleonsLRI addressed #UNOC2022 on the private sector playing a more prominent role in reducing plastic waste, SIDS conversation for tourism & economic development & the role we play in data collection. APCO’s statement: bit.ly/3anQswS

The world lost one of its luminaries today. Madeleine Albright advanced our country’s highest ideals of freedom, democracy, and human dignity. As the first female U.S. Secretary of State, she never stopped inspiring women to use their voice.
