Today, we’re announcing over $120 million to deliver urgent, life-saving support to those affected. Humanitarian aid must reach those in need—safely and without obstruction. Yesterday, the Groceries and Essentials Benefit Act received Royal Assent. The new Benefit will provide relief to more than 12 million low and modest-income Canadians, including 43,987 in Don Valley West. Our government is focussed on what we can control—making life more affordable for Canadians.
