Idk they’re good for teeth that shift after braces but because they can’t use bands obviously or an expander it’s pretty limited what they can do and bacteria be growing like crazy in the retainers leading to the gingivitis and inflammation stuff I know a lot of people who got got

I know I had adult braces but dude nobody decides as a senior fucking citizen that it’s time for braces, at that point you looking at dentures dawg. not to mention your upper jaw is fused by 17, might get some movement into your early 20’s but after that how much movement is actually even possible becomes less and less and relapse becomes more and more likely. Most orthodontist’s would refuse an elective client after the age of 40-50
