Important Upwork reminder 💚😱 Newbies get banned from the platform everyday because they aren’t aware of these strict pre-offer contact rules: 1. Never share your email address. Even if it’s for file or permissions purposes. 2. Never initiate a call or zoom call on your own. You MUST initiate calls and zoom calls using the Upwork’s proprietary call scheduler. (In the messenger). 3. Never click on an email, calendly or external zoom link if the client sends it. And certainly never provide your own. 4. Never send a client a link to any website that features a method for direct contact (like a contact page) And finally, if a CLIENT does any of the above always reply with the Upwork TOS line about offsite communication to save yourself on the off chance your account gets flagged. It will be a clear indication you were following the rules. Upwork will side with you if you follow the rules. @TheFiverrGuy_ just got his account reinstated. But it was a close one y’all. Be hyper vigilant.

HR interviewed a guy for a software developer position. HR declines him for inappropriate, ned-like communication, and lack of soft skills. The guy tells HR to go fuck themselves. The word about this guy is now spreading. What a way to ruin your reputation and chances.

@ionutzkazaku Or we are already seeing the sunset of X. When you think about it: Youtube launched a year before X Instagram 4 years after X TikTok 10 years after X Yet, all of them have significantly higher user base.
