The United States should never get to host the World Cup again:
1. It's not a football country. They like dumb, boring sports like American Football and baseball instead.
2. They treat their guests badly because of their racism and Islamophobia.
3. They are trying to change the sport into four quarters to fit in their commercial breaks (pure greed).
4. They are more interested in the celebrities attending the games than the matches themselves.
Football is the world sport by a country mile. Let Americans focus on their own nonsense sports. The world doesn't need America, and not just in a sporting sense.

@Leisure4Me I follow plenty of US sports, particularly the NBA and the NFL. I never said there was no fan culture, but US team owners could care less for the fans. If they did, they wouldn't move teams if they didn't get their way.

You pick up teams and move them on a whim because local authorities aren't willing to pay for a new venue.
US sports is entirely focused on money as opposed to fan culture and Americans entering into other sports inevitably make them worse. I would sit this one out.

We have three sports leagues in the US that each make far more revenue than any soccer league anywhere in the world. We have dozens of stadiums that are far beyond the best venue in most countries. Sports as entertainment is something we unquestionably do better than anyone else in the world. So when US sports consumers give feedback, you would think people would listen, right? It's like French people commenting on your food or Germans talking about your engineering quality. Nope! Just more Euro-snob bullshit. The bottom line is soccer is a worse product than American football or basketball. That's why we don't watch it. We have options.

@nikicaga The real issue is that Asia isn't divided in 2 and also, it's way better to do it with a 64 team World cup, this is how I would divide it:
Africa 14 (+4)
Europe 20 (+4)
East Asia 6
West Asia 6
North America 8 (+2)
South America 8 (+2)
Oceania 2 (+1)
Asia gets +3 as a whole.

This was not granted to US, and they actually have to play against a team staying put if they advance. Not to mention Group D was one of the two most difficult groups.
