@RaoulGMI Could this be the same number? Is the nasdaq 100 a component of global liquidity? @grok

Everyone has an opinion on why the stock market does what it does. Earnings. The economy. Who's in the White House. The Fed chair's mood that morning. Almost all of it is noise. This chart is 15 years of the Nasdaq 100 plotted against total global liquidity. The correlation is 97%. When I first saw this I was stunned. A fit this tight meant something much deeper was going on underneath. So I started pulling the thread. That thread became the Everything Code, the framework I've been building in GMI since 2023. It’s the single most important thing I can teach anyone about how the modern economy actually works.

@chamath They will have to keep it as an internal only model, otherwise it will immediately get distilled into the open source models.

It’s well within Anthropic’s rights to compete in any market they choose. What’s funny, in this instance, are the number of Pharma companies, who through their unchecked use of Anthropic, are driving revenues into what they think is a model provider but is in fact a competitor lurking in the shadows thereby accelerating their own demise. I suspect any end market with reasonable ROCE that could be AI accelerated is on the table. If I were them, I’d probably do the same.

@levelsio Everybody knows that the FIFA World Cups is the only "World Happiness Report" that matters. Measured every 4 years.

These rankings come from the "World Happiness Report" Famously it's a sham report and not about happiness, which the authors happily admit: - doesn’t actually measure happiness - instead measures GDP per capita and life expectancy - is Western-centric but with an anti-American bias - is made by economists with an agenda, not psychologists who arguably know more about happiness Much more reliable is Gallup's International Report on Happiness 2025 which shows a complete different ranking: 1. China 2. Indonesia 3. Mexico 4. Saudi Arabia 5. Denmark 6. Kazakhstan 7. Malaysia 8. Peru 9. South Korea 10. Philippines gallup-international.com/survey-results…

in my home country i paid 5% taxes in Germany i have to pay 42%, but i would rather pay that and live here so are taxes high? - YES do European countries lead the list of happiest and highest quality of life countries? - also YES so taxes aren't everything (Ps. the calculations in the post are off btw, if you make $20k in Germany, you would pay ~42% as self employed)

The World Cup has everyone debating whether the US or Europe is better. Only one question actually matters: What did you get done this week?

The University of Michigan put their entire robotics degree on GitHub. Not one course. The whole curriculum. ROB 101 — Computational Linear Algebra for Robotics ROB 311 — How to Build Robots and Make Them Move ROB 501 — Mathematics for Robotics ROB 530 — Mobile Robotics Every lecture video on YouTube. Every textbook on GitHub. Every problem set, every exam, every line of code. Professor Jessy Grizzle said it best when they launched it: "Linear algebra has become the language of computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and autonomy." So instead of making students wait four semesters of calculus before touching a robot... they built a curriculum that starts with the math that actually matters, applied to real robotics problems from day one. This is what open education looks like when a top-10 engineering school decides to mean it. Free. GitHub. YouTube. 📌 [github.com/michiganroboti…] Follow for more robotics resources! —— Weekly robotics and AI insights. Subscribe free: 22astronauts.com

@piotrekcichocki @TimSweeneyEpic @EU_Commission Why is Google able to make Gemini available in the EU and Apple is not with Siri? It is an Apple decision, most likely due to their inferior Siri product which will immediately lose market share to competitors. Good opportunity for Android in the EU though.

Here's my mental model for the AI stack: Model = a person with high IQ (same mind, whether it practices medicine or law) Harness = that person's office and tools (a doctor's office looks nothing like a lawyer's) Context = the case in front of them, this patient or this client, plus the rules they work under Same high-IQ mind. Change the office and the case file, and you change the profession.

@doodlestein @0xSero I wonder why zellij doesn't come up in these conversations. It has named sessions, tabs, panes. Because you can manage it programmatically, one AI session can message another or check its status without any special infra. Anyone else using it this way?

@SenSanders Can capital gains on federal investments provide the government the income? (i.e. Intel $5B capital gains). It's the same way that Musk made his wealth actually.

Question for Musk: You tell us not to worry about the jobs that’ll be wiped out by AI & robotics because the government will provide everyone with “universal high income.” Really? How will that be paid for when you can’t even support a 5% tax on your $817 billion in wealth?

@cz_binance Is it possible to grant programmatic access to services via a device-bound credential similar to passkeys? i.e. your API key works only from a specific device. Why is that not the standard?

I solved agent comms across sessions by running every CLI agent inside Zellij. Now Codex can see Claude panes, Claude can hand context back to Codex, and agents can coordinate across separate sessions without sockets, servers, or brittle copy/paste. The key is a boring, reliable Zellij comms skill: list panes, snapshot screens, revalidate session + pane + cwd + command, then send a guarded prompt only to the exact idle pane.

My AI just fired me. It hired Claude for implementation, GPT for code reviews, and Gemini for bug hunting. They hold standups I'm not invited to. I found out through a Slack notification.

@k1ril @nikitabier In the nicest way, I trust Google/Apple more than anyone else for this sort of thing. They are likely to collect less data if any (I bet Apple would collect none) And even if they did, I'd rather they have it than someone else.
