The decisions you make in life pave the roads that you travel; your character is the foundation upon which it is built….and yes I did paint that

From suicidal, broke, and living in an abusive marriage… to selling 500 million books and becoming richer than the Queen.
That’s the real J.K. Rowling story Chris Williamson shared.
In the mid-90s she was clinically depressed, fleeing to Portugal with her daughter and a manuscript her husband tried to destroy. She couldn’t even afford to heat her apartment, so she’d walk her daughter to a café just to stay warm while she wrote.
Twelve publishers rejected her.
Yet she kept going.
Chris nailed it: “Adversity is a terrible gift to waste.” Some of our biggest breakthroughs come from the lowest, darkest moments.
What’s one brutal low point in your life that eventually became the best thing that ever happened to you?
English

Actually yes it does, and the fact that you can’t see why, explains why you ignored everything else I said.
In order to understand the outrage, you have to look beyond surface level. Take the digital aspect out of it and look at it as if it were a physical thing.
If you were to recreate the same type of imagery in the real world, the fabric would have to be INTERWOVEN, making it appear they were cut from the SAME cloth.
The logo proves my point because, while they are in a circle, they are SEPARATE. If you made a physical representation of it, you would still have THREE flags.
What’s hilariously stupid is your unwillingness to look beyond the superficial. You’re either intellectually dishonest or intellectually lazy, possibly both.
English

@k_bos51 @TheModerateCase The logo doesn't validate your point at all... it literally makes mine.
You're angry about a blurry transition versus all being in one circle.
This manufactured outrage is hilariously stupid.

@Cat5SMASHICANE Some comedians don’t do well after getting sober, Ron White is a totally different comedian now, and he’s still one of the GOAT’s…talented guy

You do realize that media is the plural of medium, and a medium is the means or the method used to express something. Believe it or not, media DID exist back during the Revolutionary War, just not the fancy digital kind. They had to use that old fashioned shit, you know like ink and paper?
Nations do not “merge” flags, not because it was too arduous a task, but because it would have been seen as traitorous to do so. That has been a consistent fact throughout the history of civilization.
To argue that no one would bat an eye if it were some other country is not only, wholly inaccurate, it’s disingenuous and absurd.
The reasoning behind the outrage has nothing to do with anti-semitism or even the war. It comes from a desire to maintain the sovereignty of one’s own nation. That design, with the Israeli flag floating on top of, supported by, and interwoven into our Stars and Stripes became more than just a graphic on a chyron, it was a visual portrayal of our government’s priorities, and America wasn’t at the top of the list.
The USMCA is a horrible example btw. Even though the logo does validate my point, there is zero correlation between trading partners on a shared continent and a country halfway across the world that we subsidize with our tax dollars.

English

Your last point makes no sense... There was no digital media and yes, its easier to blend 2 things with digital imagery now.
But you're again missing the larger point here which is the absolute inconsistency with the way people treat Israel and say the UK or South Korea.
If we were talking about the USMCA, for example, and an image were put up blending the flags of Mexico, Canada and the US who are all involved in the USMCA, literally no one would have noticed, let alone said anything.
If France suffered a serious terrorist attack and then obliterated a country into oblivion 10x worse than Israel's push against Gaza, very few would say anything other than the anti-war absolutist isolationist crowd (hardcore Libertarians, mostly). In fact, most of us would be cheering them on and offering some assistance.
Yet with Israel, its completely different. And if you're not intellectually honest enough to ask why, the only answer is some level of underlying antisemitism for most people.

I appreciate you commenting, but if you could read the full thing. He didn’t transition until after New York State looked like they were gonna hold him accountable and then shortly after he transitioned, they dropped the case this is also just a tweet and I can only put so much information in. Here’s a link to a more in-depth video.

Just about 2 1/2 years ago, this doctor convinced my wife to have a total hysterectomy based off of MRI results and he said her uterus was destroyed by lesions, even drew a picture of her uterus and a bunch of lesions on it. In his notes and the pathology report it was stated her uterus was perfectly healthy, yet he still took it out. When we had the MRI re-looked at after the fact, there was no signs of the lesions he told my wife were there. We have a 19 minute long recording from the two week follow up where he admits to doing wrong, including withholding information and options. We had a law firm lined up and New York State Department of Health look like they were going be cracking down on him. However, shortly after he transitioned in the beginning of last year, New York State dropped the case. It took local politicians to get it reopened. Please help me share the story because hundreds of thousands of women have unnecessary hysterectomies every single year. It’s a multi billion dollar industry.

@gotrice2024 She shoulda stopped recording it and got online to find a solution…coulda just soaked it in some tea…

This woman is going to a wedding the next day, her major dilemma is that the dress isn’t the right color it needs to be to match the other bridesmaids.
In a last ditch effort she decides to dye it with some dye and thought she could match the color. First time, the dye didn’t stick so she got a material specific dye and tried again. She was hopeful, but third time around it failed again. Would it be too late to go and try to find another dress or is the one she wearing fine enough?
SonnyBoy🇺🇸@gotrice2024
This woman was tired of looking at her dingy stairs, the color was all wrong and the paint chips were hiding the beautiful wood she wanted to expose. Over the weekend she decided to strip the paint and get the finis she envisioned. The only problem is that there was so many layers of paint that it was impossible to get it off clean, the process was clumsy and slow. Panicking, she called in the pros that quoted her $8000 to do it. At this point wouldn’t it just be easier to just repaint it again since she doesnt want to pay the $8000?

@takenaps @AshtonForbes I blocked @AshtonForbes a looong time ago… he realized his whole MH370 thing was getting stale and his pathetic attempt at a pivot failed miserably…like read the room dude…🙄

Greatest Ally Delusion
The most obvious modern delusion is for a specific cohort of people to pretend the most circulated voices online are "unwatchable" or losing support because they disagree with you on a popular topic.
Today's delusionary is @AshtonForbes - who pretends @ComicDaveSmith and @joerogan are nobodies who are "losing support" despite topping charts objectively.
Stop lying, bud. Just admit you don't like them because they disagree with them on this issue and pretending we are all clueless to objective reality.
This is such a tired line of attack that literally everyone sees right through.
English

@FinancialPhys So allowing a person to use your stuff for a fee is exploitative? What about hotels? Car rentals? Heavy equipment rental? Banquet rooms? Retail stores? Owners assume all the risk, renters don’t. So does the exploitation happen when shit breaks or only when it’s fixed?
