@iWomansplainer I can't do it either. I look at the cost for delivery. If I order from the local pizza shop, Large 4 topping pizza walk-in $20 flat. If it's delivered, $32. I can't justify paying $12 for someone to drive it over.

It actually blows my mind that people pay for food taxis. Like I legitimately cannot fathom this. I’m an engineer. My husband is an engineer. One might say we could easily afford Door Dash. Yet, we have literally never ordered it on our own dime in my entire life. Not even once.

@CryptoMikli I just bought a whopper with cheese for $10.44. Not a meal, just the burger. How about I just stop eating? The I can starve and then I wont have to pay for lunch anymore.

@Daynlokki @MPFrazer Let's go grocery shopping at the Dollar Store. I'm sorry for anyone who has to do that. They can't even afford to get sick.

@k_jabb @MPFrazer I love the ‘eat like a peasant and lower your life span’ foods being pushed as if they were healthy alternatives.

@Smariam1984 @domenicpish24 The point isn't the sandwich. It's that you CAN have healthy, nutritious food on a tight budget, as long as you are willing to actually do a small amount of work.

@MPFrazer You mean like the carcinogenic food dyes and preservatives in jelly? How about the dough additives for the bread that are carcinogenic?

@EmbracingTara Kinda….but not entirely accurate market economics But Strongly support your “don’t buy” at $17 ideology Two big fresh chicken breasts at the grocery store is $10-11 bucks! Take that home-1 in the fridge and 1 into the Air Fryer! For $5 BUCKS👉🏻a tasty lunch! + pickles! Yum!

Chipotle burritos cost $17 because the market supports $17 burritos If everyone said, I'm not paying $17 for a burrito, fuck that, Chipotle burritos wouldn't cost $17. Chipotle burritos cost me $0.00. Do you know why? I choose not to purchase them. Is this clocking at all?

@ganggreenie36 @EmbracingTara Why it costs that much does not matter. If I don't feel the cost of the product is worth what I receive, I stop buying the product. 59 cent tacos and 89 cent burritos at Taco Bell was worth it. Now, not so much.

Kevin O'Leary says most people waste $15,000 a year on stupid stuff like $5 coffees "Stop buying coffee for five dollars and fifty cents" "You go to work and you spend $15 bucks on a sandwich, what are you an idiot. It costs you 99 cents to make a sandwich at home and bring it with you" "Bring your own water, your own drink or your own coffee mug. You start to add that up every day it's a ton of money" "Most people starting on their job making their first $60,000 piss away about $15,000 a year"
