And the battery in a hybrid is worked a lot harder than in a fully electric vehicle. Plus they are _a lot_ more complex with parts that can (and will) fail.

@OutofSpecDetail The battery tech just isn't where it needs to be. The country should have leaned into hybrids. It makes the most sense. That would have given drivers the wiggle room to use both gas and electric during this transition period where were still upgrading the grid for EVs.

@itskyleconner I guess you get used to it, but think I would have a very hard time getting to terms with a steering system with any form of lag. It would be interesting to see how it performs in real life evasive manoeuvres like the "moose test".

NIO ET9 is the second vehicle to use steer-by-wire (Cybertruck was first) and it’s tuned way differently! Just like Cyber you can get ahead of the system and get it out of phase when being an idiot but it’s nearly as quick to recover and doesn’t freak out

Wet wood, keeps hitting the middle, axe probably dull as hell, he's swinging below a tree, he's trying to brute force it with arm strength. Let the wood dry out, start from the edge, don't ever swing an axe when underneath something that can catch it, use your hips more. Focusing on using just your arms will wear you out quickly. There's people who cut 10 of these a day by hand.

Thousands of Christians were massacred, Muslims became the majority, Hezbollah took over, and the country hasn’t known peace ever since. Lebanon is the first and ultimate example that coexistence between Christians and Muslims is quite literally impossible. It’s mind-blowing that anyone would use it as an example of coexistence, let alone the Pope.

Om elbilar hade funnits och fossilbilar skulle komma till marknaden idag, skulle praktiskt taget ingen vilja köpa den! Dessutom att bygga ut ett system av tusentals tankstationer, gräva ner 2-3 tankar i marken vid varje station, transportera bränsle hundratals mil för att komma till en station och fylla den en gång i veckan. Sen nämner vi inte brandfarliga vätskor som diesel och bensin, explosioner i motorn, oljud och hundratals rörliga och snabbt utslitna delar, hög servicekostnad, hög skatt på både bil och bränsle, vibrationer, dålig acceleration, otäck lukt vid tankning, och usch om du får det på händerna, dyrt att tanka, och du kan inte tanka hemma, måste åka omväg för att fylla upp tanken, du kan inte styra värmen med en app och få den varm när du ska åka till och från jobbet… en växellåda som är märklig med massa växlar, eller visserligen finns automat, men som bringar en massa ryck när du gasar och absolut ingen bensin tillbaka i tanken när du rullar eller åker i utförsbacke… Dessutom en dum bil som inte känner igen dig när du sätter dig i bilen, inte flyttar stolen och ratten till din position, inte vet vart du ska eller vill via telefon… Men visst, den går att fylla upp drivmedel i den på ”bara” 5 minuter till det fsala priset av 1600kr
