Good morning X Fam, one year ago today I received a second chance at life when I received a double lung transplant. The previous day, I had gotten word that lungs might be available. A long day ensued, not knowing if they would be viable. Around 830 in the morning the nurse came in my room and told me it’s a go. Up to that point everything seemed to be stuck in molasses, now it went to the other extreme and in no time at all I was being prepped in the OR. Thank God🙏everything went well and I finally awoke sometime on July 12 in the ICU. I am the 829th recipient of new lungs from Tampa General Hospital. @TGHCares #Lung #LungTransplant #BornAgain
