The 17th #PirateJam will begin in around 14 days. We run two of these a year and it's a great opportunity to learn about development and make something neat. You don't need to have any skill or knowledge to sign up at all. The point of a jam is to give yourself some time to learn and be creative. Gaming is such an unfortunate artform because unlike any other, it was born directly into capitalism and has always had capitalism be a factor in every facet of the medium, unable to grow for the most part separate from it.
