@TorontoHydro My building around Yonge-Sheppard still does not have power, but the outage no longer appears on the map on your website:

@MichaelGoldsbie @TorontoHydro It is strange the power is back at 34 Sheppard but still not 33 Sheppard when the buildings are colocated and share the lobby area.

@karinschnarr @TorontoHydro My understanding when I phoned Toronto Hydro is that while the outage itself is done, the building staff have to actually configure something. I spoke to the concierge at ~7 and they said they need to call in the building manager to come in, and the ETA for that would be an hour.

Congratulations to @YRP Sergeant Goncalo Bernardo for being awarded the 2024 Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP)/Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario’s (AGCO) Award for Outstanding Investigation. This award was presented to Sgt. Bernardo for demonstrating excellence and innovation in investigative work in alcohol, gaming, horse racing and/or in the cannabis retail sectors. A five member team led by Sgt. Goncalo Bernardo conducted innovative and aggressive enforcement at illegal gaming houses to combat some of the violence that took place due to the heavy involvement of organized crime in this lucrative criminal market. The team leveraged community complaints, intelligence, Section 199 search warrants, cutting edge training, and a partnership with the O.P.P. Gaming Protection Unit to shut down illegal gaming operations in Richmond Hill, Markham, and Toronto – locations that had been targeted in shootings, robberies, and serious assaults.
