Happy days, intel led stop of vehicle seen driving dangerously nr Cottingham last week. Driver arrested no licence, no insurance and now drug driving after positive test. @HumberbeatRoads seizure of van to top it off.

@virginmedia once again business broadband down. DN40 area this must be the most unreliable broadband out there. Shocking!

@rattycastle @samthechauffeur @herdyshepherd1 Sadly, it is mainly around the edge of the lakes themselves that seem to get hit by the worst. The hiking trails tend to be ok. The rangers are out early doors trying to get on top of it and do a cracking job.

@MZebBenjamin @minkebill @herdyshepherd1 Just because someone can afford to pay doesn't mean they respect the surroundings. I regularly go the lake district and one of the biggest problems I see is entitled idiots with no understanding of countryside or common decency. This isn't a problem unique to the lakes.

@minkebill @herdyshepherd1 If you can afford to run a car, you can afford to pay a small entrance charge. Vehicles I see in the Lake District don’t look like they’re owned by poor people, unless they’re farm vehicles!
