@alexlindsay As someone who teaches at the college level, I deal with with consequences of this dumbing down every day. Students don’t save their work, students don’t understand file and folder structures, etc. Teaching Adobe apps requires starting from the very basics.

@FixingEducation My kids are in HS. Chromebooks really should be burned. They are the worst thing to happen to education in maybe 100 years and have given technology in the classroom a bad name. It didn’t have to be this way.

@kastings I’ve done that. The problem is that my computer never sees the phone until I’ve turned hotspot access on and off several times. It sees everyone else’s hotspot automatically.

I think I’d get back an hour a day if my Mac would default to my iPhone hotspot whenever it’s looking for WiFi. Is there a way to make that happen?
