Bad Bunny’s halftime show numbers are in. TL;DR: TPUSA got crushed into a fine powder of cultural irrelevance, while the NFL and NBC had much to celebrate: -128.2 million viewers in the US -4 billion views across social media in 24 hours, making it the “most-consumed halftime show of all time on NFL social platforms” -NBC’s streaming platform Peacock had its best day ever Sunday TPUSA could never even approach these numbers, and that’s why its grifter army is seething and lying. Probably the most pathetic display of cope I’ve ever seen in my life.

@g22800 @moymiz @FoxNews Why the fuck do you care so much? Do you really think the weebs care that Japanese and kpop artists sing in Japanese and Korean rather than English? Why is it suddenly a problem when it's a Spanish artist but when it's KPOP, it's totally okay. Fuck outta here with that shit.

'AN ABOMINATION': The Super Bowl LX halftime show featuring Latin trap artist Bad Bunny was the subject of criticism on Sunday night. President Trump called it "one of the worst ever" and many viewers expressed frustration that almost none of the show was in English. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin made cameo performances.

Donald Trump reacts to Bad Bunny's historic #SuperBowl Halftime Show: “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting.”

🔥 Nope, this was bigger than football. Everyone preaching “all-American values” tried to hide behind a culture war stunt… and Bad Bunny just wiped the floor with the whole charade. This wasn’t a halftime show — it was a crowd, a culture, a moment. Puerto Ricans, non-white fans, global supporters — all there for unity, joy, pride. Meanwhile the TPUSA rally looked like a museum exhibit: nostalgia, exclusion, resentment. Here’s the truth most won’t say out loud: America isn’t defined by who you exclude — it’s defined by who shows up anyway. So yeah — Bad Bunny wasn’t just amazing. He humiliated the pretend patriots who try to gatekeep what “being American” means. And this is the real America — diverse, loud, unapologetic, unbought.
CALL TO ACTIVISM@CalltoActivism

🚨BREAKING: Bad Bunny was AMAZING. He just humiliated Turning Point USA and their “all-American” counter-rally implying Puerto Ricans and anyone who isn’t white aren’t American. Fuck that. THIS is America.

Bad Bunny walked out in a #64 jersey with “OCASIO” on the back. Not Bad Bunny. Not Benito. His real name. His family name. Then he grabbed the mic and said: “My name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. And if today I’m here at the Super Bowl, it’s because I never, never stopped believing in myself.” In Spanish. No translation. Even the jumbotron was in Spanish. And I watched the whole thing with a translator on. Because the message was that important to me. They said he was “un-American.” They said nobody would understand him. They said having him perform was “ridiculous.” And he SHOWED OUT! He brought out Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. He staged a wedding on the field. He recreated a bodega. He gave us a whole scene of family and love. He humanized an entire culture on the world’s biggest stage. All in his native language. And he didn’t flinch. His lyrics were clear messages: “They want to take the river from me, and the beach too. They want my neighborhood and for my grandma to leave.” “I should have taken more photos when I had you. Hopefully my loved ones will never move.” And that last line: “Ojalá que los míos nunca se muden.” Hopefully my loved ones will never move. That’s about families being separated. Forced to leave. Displacement. Yeah, he didn’t chase the mainstream. He made the mainstream come to him. He put his family name on his back and told 120 million people exactly who he is. And I’m here for ALL of it!👏🏽
